[2013-15] siib final merit list

@faraz1987 Nope, haven't received. Although I mailed them explicitly today, and got a confirmation. You can also call the Admission's Office and ask.

can i expect a reply from any 1??

@Mr.Perfect dude can u tell when is the 2nd list of SIIB expected to be declared??
@haddi Last date for fee deposit for first list candidates(confirmed) - is 23rd. So after 25th they will confirm the no of vacant seats and then the movement will take place.

PS - I am not a SIIBian. This is just my opinion. For exact dates - let the time come. 😛 :D

I agree, in fact i think in just 2-3 batches it has reached to a level of SIIB and also because of its transparent admission process it has an edge over SIIB.
First of it is very unfair to compare colleges. SIIB has a different program all together MBA-International Business which is different from the conventional MBA. Not intending to repeat as you must have heard... The International Perspective is an add on and an icing on the cake !

Have a look at the course content. SIIB is vintage and it's been there for more than 20 years... we have a broad Alumni base... and the course structure is one of the best in the industry...

As far as the cutoffs are concerned .. much thought goes into the process... so dont get carried away by cutoffs..

That is not correct..but I do not want to get into who gives wait-list# or not....

As per SIIB's admission policy, we do not disclose waitlist#. This has been in place since last year.... But I can assure you lot of thought process goes into this before the Admissions policy is determined by the mgmt..

@Santanu.Das sir I completely agree wd u..bt as the waitlist no. is not given so the candidates are left in doubt whether they will be selected or not and what wd be their chances of being selected

But the admission process and transparency are really questionable. I am sure even you might have gone through same situation and also your batch must have given necessary feedback regarding the process, but its strange that the college administration has stayed with the process even after so many questions being raised on its creditability of the institute. Anyways at end of the day, if MBA aspirants don't trust a college then even 20 years of experience and alumni network don't help.
I hope you agree with me.
@dhawal007 he wont reply in public forum and wont damage the name of college. but its true SIBM b ka cuttof isliye hi high gaya bcz they are transparent !

Dude plz do some reasoning before saying such things. Last date for admission of SIIB was before SNAP whereas for SIBM-B it was till Jan. That clearly explains the low cutoff!!
As for the transparency, I agree with u that not giving waitlist numbers speaks of the college's greed for money. But this being a Symbi college, that is expected. Dunno why SIIB & SCMHRD refrained from giving waitlist no.s ,whereas the other colleges gave the waitlist no.
I hope the admission team will re-consider this decision since its only creating confusion amongst us aspirants!!
Also I would like to request the SIIB seniors to be a bit more active in this thread coz that would really benefit us during this crucial deciding time of choosing the right B-school.

P.S. I am simply an aspirant & I really hope that I convert in both SIIB & SIBM-B. (waitlisted in both u see. )
