After seeing this thread i too think tht its better to withdraw from gd/pi its not worth spending around 4000-5000 and wasting my time, going to mumbai to attend a college which even charges fees after getting selected for gd/pi...........even the college site doesnt have a list of recruiters till now forget about the average package........paying 10lakhs as fees is a very big thing for most of the aspirants no one will risk there career joining such a klg........is this the standard of nmims-b???:sneaky::nono:
NMIMS-B is treating like they have placement standards like IIM'S
1.They cant give at least Top 10 recruiters list for Final Placements
2.They cant give highest and lowest package (i knw u cant say average as placement process is not over)
3.They cant say when the final placement report will come (atleast the approx date)
MBA Colleges like GLIM Gurgaon whose 1st batch is passing out @2012 is revealing all list of companies came with salary package through PG (http://www.pagalguy.com/discussions/pgpm-energy-at-great-lakes-iemr-gurgaon-25071301) and how many selected & NMIMS-B cant reveal anything from above 3.
Placement data for NMIMS-B WILL be revealed at an appropriate time and it will happen once the placement GETS OVER....One doesn't need to be razor sharp to understand this simple logic..
It's pretty strange to see that placement data plays such a crucial role in determining whether to attend the GD/PI or not....That data definitely plays a role while deciding on admissions....But that stage will come only for those who clears the GD/PI..So an aspirant, at this stage, should think on how to clear the GD/PI....Moreover, it has been repeatedly said that the data WILL be available once the placement process is OVER...Even after that there are requests for information on average, highest, lowest packages, list of companies, etc....Moreover, there are a few people who's passing judgements about what NMIMS-B or NMIMS-Hyd is worth of. To them, you are not the one to decide what others are worth of....You first need to prove whether you are worth of the marks that fetched you a call (from any institute)....Concentrate on converting your calls first....

I dont understand why u guys r hiding actual placement figures. Please stop fooling us and honestly accept the inability of your institute. It seems that primary aim of nmims is earning money thats why they r charging fee for gd pi also. Its shameful for an institute like nmims. I think its better for us to ignore nmims banglore call and prepare for other calls because there is no point in wasting time and money for an institute which is not honest to itself.

4) Would GD involve case study analysis or a discussion on current topics?
5) Is GD a elimination round or everyone is given a chance for PI?
6) Can you please provide some pointers to PI, something that NMIMS Blore specifically focuses on?
7) I need an extension to my GD/PI f=fdate, Can you share some ID of admissions?

1)The faculty profile for NMIMS b is given in the website....some have prior experience at NMIMS Mumbai,most of them have taught at IIMs and other B-schools

3)The max intake is 120...
4)GD mostly doesnt involve case study analysis...it involves current/abstract topics...
5)GD is not elimination

The average work ex is more than 2 years....we have ppl with around 5 years work ex also....
Yes work ex is given weightage....ATB
last year people wid 150-160 wud have got nmims b
now the batch will be of above 200......great combination
