Ok,I dont want to offend anyone, but I don't think the placement of Bangalore campus would be good.
Reason being that they have not even disclosed the Placements data of Executive PGDM,for which few batches have already passed out.Please correct me if i'm wrong
I myself being an aspirant,have thought a lot about spending so much for attending GD/PI at Mumbai without any concrete info about the ROI i'll be getting. So I've decided to focus on few other calls i have.
PS:I don't get the point in keeping the whole GD/PI process only at mumbai.i would have definitely attended the process,if it was at bangalore.

Is PGDM from NMIMS AICTE approved?? Bcoz I cant see d name on AICTE website?? If is is affiliated to NMIMS university then why does not it give MBA?? Universities can give MBA degrees?? Also UGC website says Apart from Mumbai Campus NMIMS has no approved or affiliated college or branch!!! Seniors plz clarify.
pkonduri Saysit is really important to know the placement stats, I cannot proceed with my application without this data. I need to know what I am in for. Please at least give a range, if the placements are not done at least give us some data of already placed guys! Come on! dont unnecessarily force us to think something is fishy! please help!

All the decent colleges give this data because they feel it is important for their institute's reputation and also for the aspirants! I find no reason why the NMIMS Bangalore guys are not releasing this data! Very BAD media management! I can only feel sorry for u guys!

bhai kitna bhi chilla lo..yaha no one is gonna listen.And i feel bad for seniors.I think hey really are helpless.I for a fact know that NMIMS keeps its placement process a big secret.But i understand that the candidates also need to be informed better.No one is just going to come randomly to mumbai,splash thousands more for a institute which thay don't even know about.Every1 is a loser in this case.Really sad.

Even approximate placement values wud hve done...bt d secrecy creates suspicion..throwing anoder 4000 bucks for going to Mumbai...NoT WORTH.

UDYAM Social Responsibility Cell of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore, conducted a Blood Donation Camp on 4th February, 2012. It was well received.
Last year students of NMIMS organized medical camp, extracurricular activities like painting competition, quiz and games for under privileged children at an NGO.
In future, NMIMS Bengaluru plans to conduct activities like organ donation awareness camp, CSR summit etc. Also the Institute is planning to have Industry Institute partnership to conduct social welfare activities together.

I totally respect your curiosity to know the placement details but as I already mentioned many times we are not able to share it because placement committee do not permit us. Definitely we are going to reveal placement details but that will happen at right time.
All those who are skeptical about the placement let me explain you that any institute can increase cutoff by 55 marks only when institute is confident about them-self. Placement is going good. But you all also focus on other important factors to consider like faculty, Industry- Institute relationship, Curriculum etc. A pool of faculty comprising Full-time, Adjunct and Visiting faculty handle the various courses. Faculty selected have excellent Academic credentials being graduates from IITs, IIMs, Cornell University (USA) etc. The faculty team in Bangalore has a rich blend of industry and academic experience; 80% of full time faculty have a PhD.
I suggest all students who all are telling that they are not going to appear for GD- PI because of no placement details. Go attend GD PI because after GD PI also you will get time to decide on college but if you will not go for GD PI and after some time you come to know a good placement report of NMIMS, Bangalore thn you might regret for not attending GD PI.

Can u atleast tell us by what time wud u guys be able to disclose placement related info...jsst an approximation...like a month or so ???
NMIMS-B is treating like they have placement standards like IIM'S
1.They cant give at least Top 10 recruiters list for Final Placements
2.They cant give highest and lowest package (i knw u cant say average as placement process is not over)
3.They cant say when the final placement report will come (atleast the approx date)
MBA Colleges like GLIM Gurgaon whose 1st batch is passing out @2012 is revealing all list of companies came with salary package through PG (http://www.pagalguy.com/discussions/pgpm-energy-at-great-lakes-iemr-gurgaon-25071301) and how many selected & NMIMS-B cant reveal anything from above 3.

There wont be any list with lowered cutoff.....yes multiple lists will be released but tht will be merit based lists of candidates who have already been called now ie above 208 for Mumbai and 200 for Bglr/Hyd.
To all quitters who are above cut-off:
- NMIMS Bangalore Placement data will be released in time as per institute directions.
- Consult your parents and industry friends on not joining NMIMS - Bangalore. Their views will be more practical and free from biases.
- Good wishes for the journey ahead.
