i am final year student of B.tech.
i have applied for XLRI-2011,but by mistake i have selected GENERAL MANAGEMENT program,which is an executive program.
i have already purchased the voucher ,so will i have to further purchase the
voucher or i can use the vouchers,purchased earlier.
can anybody please tell me the xat pattern this year..seniors please help
is it true that gk section will again become a part of xat:shock

What is the last date for receiving XAT form and payin slip?
is it 30 Nov 0r 5 DEC?
The XLRI website says that form should be recieved within seven days of receiving the payment acknowledgement date. Considering the last date for online submission is 30th November, for recieving the applicaion it should be 7th December.
Still i am skeptical and would want a conformation from someone else from the community as well.

I checked with the speed post around 8 pm that day & they told me that it has reached XLRI only on 25th
Today, when i logged in the site & clicked on application status, i get a message - ur application is under process.
So what does this mean? Has my application reached XLRI?
I am really worried 😞

I also got that message but my application has been accepted. Those messages, I think, were sent in bulk to each candidate. Others can clarify this further.

I also got a similar sms on 25th and later found out that the application had reached but the status had not been updated. If speed post has confirmed that they delivered your application then there does not seem to be any real worry. Still to be on the safer side you can send a mail to [email protected]. Also keep checking the XAT Application status on the website, it will show your application when they verify it. My application reached there on 24th but the status was updated only on 27th.

Could any of the seniors let us know if a soft copy of passport size photograph needs to be uploaded by the students themselves? Please clarify.
If it is not be uploaded by the students, then
- firstly, does our application hold good even without the photograph?
- If not, then will a photograph be uploaded by the Admissions Office, XLRI?
Would really appreciate if any of the seniors could address these concerns.

Yeah, the photograph is uploaded by the admissions office. You will be sent a mail later asking you to log in and confirm that the photograph and signature is your's indeed.

But here u are talking about XAT application status, not XLRI application status right? My XAT application has been accepted without any issues, but the sms was sent by XLRI. How does one check the XLRI application status online?

I completed my graduation a year and a half back, but i lost my final marksheet, since it wud take time to get a new copy I sent my 7th semester grade card, wud it be a problem? any way to contact XLRI and confirm ? Also. I sent my XLRI PA form on monday but the XLRI registration page shows no updates .. please clear .. wud I have to go in for fresh registration?

You can always log back into your account on the XAT website and apply for more institutes through the XAT score. You will just have to select more checkboxes. 😃 Althought you might have to fill separate forms for all these institutes separately depending upon their policy.

I have registered for XAT and XLRI online (just now).. I have printed both the forms and now in the Instructions it says "the candidate has to enclose the duly completed XLRI PA Form and photo copies of 10th, 12th and graduation certificates (or latest mark sheet of papers/years completed till date) and SC/ST certificate (for SC/ST candidates only) through courier/registered post/speed post in the special envelope given inside the prospectus.
I am confused as to which envelope is this line referring to?? Since I registered online, I am presuming that there was no need to buy prospectus nd other stuff....

you have to make the payment for the form at any nearest Axis bank branch which would give you the prospectus and the envelope.

Call up the admissions office. I am not sure but can can opt for a maximum of 2 programs only. If you have already applied for both BM and HR, you might not be able to apply for FPM. But check this out with the admissions office.

You don't have to pay at Axis bank. A normal envelope will suffice for sending the form. I sent it in a normal envelope, and i have already received the XLRI brochure (indicating that my form has reached there safely).
