matching these 2, X=9 pakka, Q=7 , P=2 , R=3 , if P or R value interchanges even we need to give sum of P+Q+R+X which will be same..

by this way answer is A.. wat u say..

Its a DS question in XAT. All keys are giving answer E. But i got answer A. Can you guys help in getting solution of it.


In this besides the question, no other information is required..

XXX can be 111, 222 ..... 999... The common factor of this is 37.

37 X 3 = 111
37 X 6 = 222
37 X 9 = 333
37 X 12 = 444
37 X 15 = 555
37 X 18 = 666
37 X 21 = 777
37 X 24 = 888
37 X 27 = 999

So only the last one satisfies the fact that the unit digit in PQ and RQ is the same..

Guys I have no idea which colleges to apply for under XAT. Given the different pattern and complexity of the test, can anyone tell me which colleges to apply for? I have calculated my score as per the CL and testfunda answer keys and my overall score is around 35-38. Please help, thanks in advance!

Guys.. Can you plzz tell me the XAT associate institutes do not consider sectional cut offs? I attempted only 2 questions in Quant hence no hopes there.. My verbal and Logical sections went way too well.. plz tell me which insitute would be a best bet for now?/?

i also thought the answer is A

but option E states that the options are not required to give the answer.

option E generally says both insufficient to answer
but here it said option E is both are not required to answer the ques..

nicely explained. I saw option E too and considered it.
BUT think of it this way, cant P and/or R be zeros???that way there would be more than one anwer. therefore option (ii) was required for sure. still couldnt have been solved without option (i). therefore marked D. I guess i have thought too far but only XAT can tell what their explanation is.

Last year, they had 85 percentile as sectional cutoffs (for both CAT and XAT)
EDIT. Mistake: It was 85 overall. Sorry about that 😞

with these marks u will be getting abt in 92-96 bracket...
sp jain is on ...it doesn't look at sectionals.
