Always considered the toughest of all the MBA exams, XAT today reminded us who is the bAAp of all exams. A torture of epic proportions and a mindbender of devious manners, XAT bowled me over with its ambiguity and complexity.
Decision making was ambiguos as ever and analytical reasoning unfathomable.
Quantitative Aptitude impossible and Data Interpretation was not even looked upon. Alas Verbal and Logical Reasoning were the only face savers.
Never have I been so mocked upon and never so ashamed of my ignorance.
To those who did well, you deserved it.:cheerio:

Aah..what a paper! Solving CAT DI is easier than calculating my score after the release of the keys....
@ above, ya the paper was the bomb. Me did single digit attempts in all sections.
I still cant believe that I gave XAT paper today

kya yaar.. Mera bhi ku6 AISA HI HAAL HAI... They tried to make a paper like in IITs where a positive score will be enough to make to the top 10%.. :biggrin:

I have never been tortured so much....Did they gave the paper for solving it or staring at it????
Started with quants....Fot the first 15 mins I was not able to attempt a single question.Just kept on reading one question after another.
Then moved on to verbal thinking it should be a bit easy...tried the comprehension first,again I was shocked by seeing the type of questions..
Finally moved to Logical and decision making and finally my last hope...:oops::oops:
I thought i have moved into a different wolrd.:lookround::lookround:
One more shock was left which was the Essay....Kept on staring at it for 15 mins and wrote something( donno what) for 5 mins..
A Horrible experience.Feeling very Down....:drinking::drinking::drinking:

Toughest paper in any mgmt entrace,yet. 45 attempts, (QA/DI-14,VA/LR-17,AR/DI-14) after an uneventful exam season the last one bumps you. 
XAT spoiled d day...

I gave xat today and did decent. I have not applied to ant institutes though.
My queries are:
1. Do i need to apply seperately to institutes or was filling xat form was enough and i will get calls? Will i not get calls if i do not apply?
2. Do i also need to apply to XLRI?
3. If yes, then how am is supposed to apply? Please give the link to apply to XLRI.

Yes dude u have to reply separately to each of the colleges including XLRI....U can google the name of the colleges and apply.

I think dat it is easier to clear IAS exams dan XAT.. QA ws fr Astronomical scientists and LR qstns wr case study 4m Harvard and stanford... Aftr screwing my brain and mind fr 2 hrs... Aftr the exhaustion and humiliation, The essay ws the last nail in the coffin!!!
P.s: Even KARL MARX cud see birds fluttering ova hs head aftr reading the topic fr essay!!!! RIP all aspirants.
