thankyou very much.
Wish Everyone A Very Very Happy New Year..
Plus all the best for XAT...
Just go there and blast it.
Remember, , you can get a decent percentile via selection of proper questions. Do not over-attempt. XAT usually has low cut offs.
Best of Luck Puys... keep rocking..
A very happy new year everyone and all the best for tomorrow:cheerio:
Don't worry too much about the essay, just focus on the exam.
The essay is not so much of a differentiating factor and even if you mess it up, you can make up for that by performing well in the (GD and) PI, but you can't make up for the performance in the main exam later!
Happy New Year and all the best to XAT aspirants for tomorrow.
Will there be a GK section in the paper ?????? If yes then how many questions are expected ???
Please Help...
Its urgent..

Hi Puys,

Hope ppl don't groan....its new year buddies....
The Yoga system is divided into two principal parts -- Hatha and Raja Yoga. Hatha Yoga deals principally with the physiological part of man with a view to establish his health and train his will. The processes prescribed to arrive at this end are so difficult that only a few resolute souls go
through all the stages of its practice. Many have failed and some have died in the attempt. It is
therefore strongly denounced by all the philosophers. The most illustrious Shankaracharya has
remarked in his treatise called Aparokshanubhuti that the system of Hatha Yoga was intended for those whose worldly desires are not pacified or uprooted.
7. Which of the following option best reflects Shankaracharyas comments on Hatha Yoga?
A. Hatha Yoga is for those whose worldly desires are not placated.
B. Hatha Yoga has disastrous consequences for Yoga practitioners.
C. Practiced under the guidance of experts, Hatha Yoga is better than Raja Yoga for some people.
D. Raja Yoga gives better results and in a shorter time period for most people, and therefore it should be encouraged.
E. Hatha Yoga is ill-suited for people with strong worldly desires.
Sorry for the ill formatting ppl....badi muskil se q post kar paya hoon.....!!

Nail the paper guys and hope to see u here in XL 😃
Answer is definitely not B,C &D.; Key words in last line of the passage are "not pacified". It would means that they still believe in wordly desires.
Hence, E conveys the exact opposite.
So, the answer should be 1.

Do all questions in a particular section carry equal marks.
I could not make that out in the instructions and also each section has two broader heads like e.g. analytical reasoning and decision making ..so can i ignore one of the part completely ??
Happy New yr ..to all the PUys..
Nail the XAT..
Cherio,

And ALL THE VERY BEST for XAT!!!

Do your Bestest!!! :cheerio::thumbsup::cheerio::thumbsup::cheerio:
I searched quite a lot. Failed to retrieve this info.. How much was the sectional cut off last year and the year before last year?
I do not want the percentile cut-offs.. It would be great to know how many questions per section is considered safe..
