What was the cut-off (sectional & overall) for XLRI BM & PMIR last year ? Both percentile & marks.
For Human Resource Management Programme around 650 applicants having more than 92.60 percentile in VA, 80.36 percentile in QA, 84.36 percentile in RA, and overall 95.03 percentile have been shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
For Business Management Programme around 550 applicants having more than 90.13 percentile in VA, 91.31 percentile in QA, 90.01 percentile in RA, and overall 98.02 percentile have been shortlisted for Personal Interview.

What is this ? I also heard that XAT this time might have 200 questions with GK....Is it true or just rumours? Someone please throw some light on it. TIA

Puyz, I have read somewhere that XLRI will not consider essay writing scores while giving out GD/PI calls. Is it true ?? If not, then what is the maximum marks allotted to essay writing.

The essay does not have any weightage while giving out calls. You might be asked about it in your interview or might not. But it would help you if you write a good essay and your interview isn't going anywhere. It might give you a chance to redeem yourself. Last year, they asked me about my essay in BM while in PMIR, they didn't ask me anything remotely related to the essay.

I have send the form on 25-26 nov to the address mentioned ,but now i'm unable to download my admit card,as it is showing my details as INVALID when i check my status it is showing "UNDER PROCESSING" what should I do now ..as i don't have my challen copy also i have mistakenly send that with the apllication form

These are not the exact marks....dey r jus a rough idea wich i collected frm my frnds and my own scores comsiderng the keys...
Ar/dm a score of 8 wud hav given u 91 r so.....i according to the keys was gettin frm 11-13...i ended up gettin 97.05%ile last year's Ar/dm was comparitively tougher than previous year .it is my fav section so i could score well
in Qa i scored 3.5-4(according to the keys) and ended up getting 68%ile(dis was d one wich sank my XAt) a score of 9 wud hav given you 91..my friend got 18.5 n scored 99.99..and my other frnd got 91.1%ile ...he was scoring 8.75 (according to keys)
In Va i was scorin 11 in all keys n ended up gettin 91%ile so a score of 10.75 wud hav given you 90
on total i scored 93.5 ..my score was probably in the 26-29 range...
der r varying cutoff's for BM n PMIR...
PS:all these are according to last year paper toughness and they r rough estimates....only god knws how tough/easy the paper wud b(ders ntng calld easy..it all depends on one's perception) and they r my rough estimates....they are not exact statistics.....

Mail XIMB at [email protected] they respond really quickly with the status of your application. Don't know about XLRI..
I too am facing the same problem. I had couriered the XLRI application on 26th Nov and as per the Courier tracker, the forms had reached XLRI on 30th. Could someone enlighten me on how to confirm whether the form has reached XLRI in time ? :lookround: TIA
To put an end to all Ur worries, I am posting this official update i got from the concerned authorities.... Well, If your Appl status shows " Appl under processing" and the admit card login shows "Invalid details entered" then you must not worry as the Admit card has not been generated yet....They said that they have STARTED uploading the Admit cards and not finished with the process....
You might wanna keep checking for the Admit card till 31st Dec'10.
As a last resort, If the admit card does not show up at all, you can take the copy of payment receipt....and submitted form for XAT along with 2 photo ids and still appear for the exam....
So not to worry puys....just keep ur preps up.....in no case you wud be denied to write the exam provided you have not goofed up miserably somewhere in the application process...(which shud not be the case for anyone...!)
