Consisted of two tasks - 40 minutes
Q1. Paragraph was give. Write summary for 130 words
Q2. Terrorists - Internet - potentially dangerous - Internet controls? Argue for or against in 200 words.
Note: I think panel observed the WAT session.
No psych test.

Panel Members Intro: 3 persons. No idea reg background. Two middle-aged, 1 young.
Approx Time period of PI: 30 min
Questions:
(Note: Am Feverish. Am giving a rough outline.)
1. Tell me about yourself. - yada yada yada..
2. Favourite subj in BE.
3. Do you know Graph Theory(Not my fav :P).
4. Anything specific? Graph coloring :P
5. How many colors u need for coloring India map :P
6. Theory of computation - (no idea how he found my least fav subject.)
7. OK. Economics or politics? Politics.
8. IT minister, Diff btn PAC and JPC, Social work under which ministry?
and some other questions. Interview lasted for 30min.
On the whole, panel was friendly. Questions are asked based on 'tell me abt urself', interview form(extra currics, work ex) and based on your response further questions were asked.
Verdict(selected/rejected): Lolz. Verdict. My performance was bad. Did not answer properly. So no expectations.

1. (Pointing at my ear studs) - Why are you wearing it? - I gave the reason..
2. What place are you from?
3. Your father is a _____ professor.. Are you very proficient in that subject?
4. How it _____ subject different from "another" subject ?
5. What are mean, median and mode?
6. If you wish to cross a river walking, what metrics do you want to measure?
7. What is probability?
8. Are you sure the range of probability is between 0 and 1?
From now on, the focus was completely on what I wrote in my form..
1. You say Academics is your strength.. You marks are not just going down, its deteriorating.. Why?
2. You say your sense of responsibility is good.. Aren't your marks contradicting your sense of responsibility towards academics?
3. Taking challenges seriously - how is this your weakness?
4. Your failures in your work place is ______. Its not justifiable.. This shows you are an escapist..
5. Why don't you like _____ role in office? Why did you want to get into ____ ?
You seem to have a reason or an excuse to everything. Ok, we're done. All the best..
That's all, it was over and then I realized we spoke for 30+ minutes.On the whole, the panel was friendly.
Verdict(selected/rejected): Though I don't think they have a reason to reject me, I don't know a reason why they should select me.. So benefit of doubt, consider I'm selected 😃

They collected it in the beginning and kept my copy. Didn't return it.. So make sure you take one more copy (if you want one for yourself)

After the good afternoons, asked me to tell me about myself
and suddenly remembered that they had interviewed some guy from ma college in the morning and asked me whether we should take him or not
moi:
then asked me my fav subject
i said thermo
then i said industrial safety
so asked me about bp oil spill and bhopal gas tragedy
then came to my hobbies
i said paint work n all
then lady prof just picked any subject from ma grade sheet
thankfully I.T.
asked me what i did in that
so i said c/c++
than asked me diff
n similar ques on uses of oops n al
then have u seen iim indore site
n wat u saw
n discussion about their logo
n what other calls
rate them
they are observing things like ya watch n stuff n can ask u the name of brand n al...
besides very jovial group
didnt grill at al on y mba
i gave ma ans n they didnt even ask a single counter ques
(?????????????can be negative also)
then asked me all of a sudden about my mother's birth place
i said bareilly
so asked me "one common thing bet sadhana and bareilly"
i said "jhumka gira re"
even they wr laughin
n i exited...
wierd experience....(ha n somebody told me indore is a stress interview....haha)

2 tips:
1. prepare y iim indore well
2. for chemical guys prepare some subject that they know!!

P1: It has been quite a while since you finished graduation. So what technology do you work on?
Me: Java and Oracle mainly.
P1: How is Mac OS technically different from Windows?
Me: Don't Know :shocked:
P1: How do different meters like Speedometer, Ammeter work?
Me: Answered whatever I could remember which is not much!!
P1: Easy question on diodes, led and materials used in it.
Me: Answered
P2: I have three different measuring equipments how should i decide which one to use?
Me: Gave three parameters
P1, P2 and P3 looked at each other with the realization that I did not know anything technical.
P3: How many verses in the Thirukural?
Me: Don't Know followed by long story.
P3: Aurobindo settled in Pondicherry. Why did he?
Me: Thanked god and answered!
P1: Different places in southern india under french rule.
Me: Gave four places.
P3: You are from TN right? What did the Chola, Pandiya and Pallava dynasties build?
Me: Gave a generic answer.
P3: You are interested in cricket right?
Me: Finally an opening. Said yes and talked about my various interests for 5 mins 
P1: question on one interest.
Me: Answered
P1: So you have this Certificate. Was it a quiz on GK?
Me: Not GK actually. Gave an example of my favourite question on the Quiz which I thought would be interesting.
P1: Ok
P1, P2 and P3 nod their heads and tell me that's it!
Other suggestions/observations:
I guess they are solely concentrating on technical details so it is best to be fully prepared for that. That seems to be the panel's forte and they are sticking to it.
Verdict: Reject
