MICAT 2018 Result Out!

MICAT Result and Shortlist 2018 has been released. Those who appeared in this exam can check their result by logging on the MICAT website. If you want to gain access to your MICAT 2018 Scorecard, you need to have your login id and password issued to you at the time of filling an application form. The result date as mentioned on the website is December 18, 2018. Candidates who appeared for registration and have applied are able to gain access for scored from December 18, 2018. As per the marks of MICAT 2018 scorecard, candidates would be invited for further process of Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The final selection would be considered on the overall performance of the candidates.

MICAT I 2018 Result

The first phase of Group Discussion and Personal Interview would be held in the location of Delhi and Kolkata after the announcement of results. The second phase would be held in Ahmedabad at MICA campus while for the third phase Bangalore and Mumbai are the locations where it would be conducted.

How is MICAT 2018 Calculated?

Candidates who have applied for the examination had to attempt 6 different sections as per the pattern of the test. However, this competitive exam does not carry any negative marking for wrong only for psychometric and descriptive sections. It is necessary for a candidate to appear for the Psychometric test. There is a deduction of 25% of maximum mark per question for every wrong answer attempted in Verbal Ability, quantitative ability, general awareness, and divergent-convergent reasoning. It is essential for candidates to achieve a minimum score for the process of selection.

Scaled Score – Verbal Ability of a candidate achieve in MICAT I/ MICAT II = multiply by maximum possible score achieved in VA in MICAT I/ MICAT II.
