Don’t stress – Since MAT is one of the low difficulty MBA entrance exams, you need not get hesitant and scared about the exam’s difficulty or your preparation level. If you have prepared for the previous MAT or exams like CATIIFT etc., taking the MAT paper would not be difficult if you have clarity over the concepts.

Practice test in your chosen mode – choosing either of the modes for the exam, pen and paper or computer-based would require you to practice the test the way you have prepared for it. Make sure you take mock tests in the same basis as you are about to take your final examination, that way you can follow your practiced strategy on the day of the final exam and won’t encounter any form of surprise.

Time Management – attempting 200 questions in 2 hours and 30 minutes amongst an array of 5 sections, is not easy and requires subsequent concentration and proper management of tie to deal with. If extra time is being wasted on one single question or section it might lead to the wastage of time throughout the paper, and you might lose out on doing the parts that you are confident about while tracing the steps to another question so time management is key to saving yourself from the trouble of losing marks.

Don’t attempt new topics – do not start up a new topic on the day of your exam because you won’t be able to register anything at that moment, it would be better to revise and strengthen the points you are good at rather than try something new at the last moment and forget everything. You should answer only for those questions which you are confident about.
