An MBA entrance exam organized by GMAC every year, NMAT is conducted over a span of 75 days. Candidates can opt to appear for NMAT 2019 on any day within this period. Candidates can also choose a suitable time/ date/ exam venue from the 44 national and four international cities conducting NMAT on a first-come, first-serve basis. Eligible candidates can register for NMAT by GMAC up until October 3rd, 2019 online.

NMAT by GMAC 2019 is a computer-based test going to be held from October 4th to December 17th. Once the NMAT registration 2019 process is completed, candidates can download their admit card. Apart from the 44 centres in India, candidates can also choose for NMAT exam centres in Thimphu, Kathmandu, Dhaka and Colombo.

Eligibility:

The NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) 2019 eligibility criteria is decided by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). According to the primary eligibility criteria of NMAT 2019, candidates must have a bachelors’ degree or equivalent from a recognized university.

The NMAT 2019 eligibility criteria declare no maximum age bar. Aspiring candidates must make sure that they check and adhere to the eligibility criteria of NMAT 2019, which is approved by GMAC. Only eligible candidates must advance to fill the NMAT application form 2019.

Besides the eligibility requirements of NMAT, candidates also have to make sure that they pay the application fee before the deadline and submit all the correct and valid documents.

NMAT 2019 Exam 

NMAT 2019 Exam Pattern

Exam Duration – According to the exam pattern, the exam will be held over two hours. There is no restriction regarding solving a specific section within a limited time.

Mode of Exam – NMAT is a computer-based test. Each candidate will be given a computer wherein they will have to solve the questions.

The medium of Exam – Questions will be asked in English only and aspirants will have to answer them in the same language.

Marking System – One mark will be awarded for each correct answer, and no mark will be deducted for the wrong answers.

Number of Sections – NMAT is divided into three parts, namely language skills, quantitative skills and logical reasoning.

NMAT Syllabus, 2019:

NMAT syllabus 2019 comprises three areas- Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning Skills. The QA section will assess the candidates’ logical, mathematical reasoning, and data interpretation skills, while the Language Skills section will evaluate the candidates’ language comprehension skills. The section on Logical Reasoning Skills will appraise data interpretation and analytical skills of the candidate.

Language Section

Candidates will have to answer questions related to comprehension, verbal ability and language structure skills of a candidate will also be tested. Candidates will have 22 minutes to answer 32 questions. The topics consist in this section are:

Use of Synonyms; Antonyms; idioms

Fill in the blanks

Sentence Correction and usage

Corrections of grammatical errors

Syntax of Vocabulary Usage

Jumbled Sentences

Phrasal Verbs

Usage of Parts of speech; tenses and conditional

Quantitative Ability
