most of the guys think that smoking is being macho, big...but the truth is nobody likes them...let them ask the gals wht they prefer , a ride on a"smoking " steam engine or a ride in the "Non - smoking" bullet train...and pity on these guys/gals who smoke....panting to catch up with others while catching a train, struggling to run upstairs...pity

Officially I have quit for almost a month now. Feel a lot better !

I think in the end it all boils down to one own's will-power. Every smoker knows WHY smoking is bad, but he just needs to figure HOW to quit that.

smokin has become a serious problem in india.it is disheartening to see small kids of age 14 to 18 smokin.they learn it from elders.so it ll all stop only when elders stop using them.one must realise oneself that smokin is injurious not only to him but to ppl around him also.every smoker kills 4 ppl in a year.so can we conclude that smokers r cold blooded murderes :

I can never figure out y ppl smoke.. y wud u do something wen u noe its bad fr u? i mean some ppl do it bcos they think its 'macho' but iv seen perfectly sensible ppl who take to smoking n cant kick off the habit.. wonder y they do it!!

hey i actually dnt agree with the idea that people start smokin coz of some peer pressure..it all boils down to one own will power to either resist the temptation or go for it and then u start justfyin

can say all this coz i was a chain smoker myself..had abt 3 packs a day...i guess intially its just for kicks but then u light up just out of compulsion....

i wud say that i never tried quittin it coz i never felt the need...no one in my family knew it neways or mayb they just pretended not knowin it....but somehow i wanted to quit but just coz i had nuthin better to do and it was a way to kill time...

but then i thought abt it...i just quit the habit not coz i was scared of it harmin my body but then i decided that enuf was enuf and there was no need to start it in the first place..i didnt use ne patches or ne gum..i just stopped it and it really feels nice now..been 5 mths now..

so guys think abt it..its waste of money and definetly not macho and forget abt justifyin that u smoke to reduce tension...i never found the reason for this logic,....neways wd just like to say that though it sounds difficult specially for ppl who smoke like chimney but u cud get rid of this and believe me u wud feel much better
