Does anybody have experience in registering & running an NGO ? I am thinking of starting an NGO, but could not get proper information. I have googled & read some articles about it, but legalities/ formalities are not that clear. :(

Is there anybody who knows anything about it or any place where I can get such info ?

No idea AC regarding how to start an NGO .

But rest assured , if u need any help from my side then just count on me . I would be much pleased to join your NGO .

Alpesh: You can essentially do it in two ways - either as a Trust (the traditional way) or as a Section-25 Company (if you see your baby growing too large for its shoes in due course of time).

Try contacting the Dasra team (dasra.org). They do this all the time i.e. helping new NGOs get off the ground.
