Delhi Community Service thread

Hey guys...

I have worked with an NGO for almost an year n a half before my MBA....Although M in Mumbai but wud like to move to the NGOs once again sometime in my life or may be open one myself...

While my engineering days I used to teach with an NGO called Dipalaya...near nizamuddin n all places..we used to teach students in the evening

Dunno if anybody has heard about it..If yes dn please reply back...

In mumbai also thrs an NGO called Footpath..where everyone meets each wednesday and teach people on the footpath..

Went thr last year a few times..planning to do that again..

1) A little googling never hurt anyone.

2) Even if you don't find NGOs in your region.. you can always go to a nearby hospital and do some community service and/or, over the weekend help some less privileged kids, try to keep the environment clean, pay your taxes, feel proud of your country.. these little things also go a long way in serving the community, you know.
