Ms Sinha is having some meeting until 7 pm ... so our meeting is postponed to 7 pm ... confirmed by her

so we are meeting at:

6 of us .. subbu,capreal,deepT,tripathisirji,shuki ( agra ka pagaal ) and myself went and met ms. shanta sinha today. she was extremely happy to see our interest, and spoke with awesome passion about her cause - the cause of MV foundation. Their primary area of work is removal of child labour + education for children. i will explain more about their philosophy and their charter in a later post.


For now, there is some interesting news :

We are going on a day long field visit with MV Foundation to one of their camps in a district 40-70 km from Hyderabad. This Sunday. 2nd May

we start at 9 am. Conveyance and lunch will be arranged. we return by around 4-5 in the afternoon. the idea is go to see first hand what work they do, and how we can put our own plans to action. after that we will probably drop over to osmania univ for a seminar.

tripathisirji is leaving hyd. so 5 of us are definitely going for the field trip.

we would encourage all hydies interested in volunteering to please come forward and let us know if you would also want to come for the field visit. please let us know in 1-2 days, so we can inform about number of vehicles needed etc.

i assure u , it wud be a gr8 experience. the last few days, have been an eye opener for me personally, seeing so many ppl who are so passionate about what they do for society. give it a dekko.


we will let u know where we could all meet up before we go to the MVfoundation office.

I spoke to subbu .. and boy it was nice to hear about the trip today. Great post shameek. Its nice to see you keep everyone updated on the issue. The ground reality trip is really nice. It should give everyone involved a very good idea about the requirements of the work involved.

Looks like a good take off point. Keep everyone updated on the issue.

On the other hand, have there been any discussions/ideas on how this can be replicated across different cities ? Wouldn't make sense to reinvent the wheel.

I have a couple more ideas of ensuring a steady flow of people to help for such causes. I'd prefer if it could be discussed together or in a meet to ensure maximum impact.

The foundation we visited belives in certain ideologies that they call "non-negotiables". Ms Shant Sinha's suggestion was that we spread the ideas among a wider audience to start with and we can go on to do the same thats being done here across other cities. However, the field visit seems to promise more clarity regarding this. Another issue - 'Maintaining the identity of PG.com' needs to be resolved. ny ideas about that??

one bull$#!t exam over.am free for 10days am game for this field trip.and guys lemme know more about the details about the seminar when i meet up.hope i havent missed much.lets go.and boy tripathi.great job budd.hyderabad pg will miss ya and hope they miss me soon too j/k.rock on.
