Also , please tell me exactly how remebering reciprocals upto 30 will fhelp.
becasue i can calculate percentages by adjusting numerator and denominator until the denom is 100. |
the shortest approach i can think of is like, comparing the digits at tenth place, both are same.but 61*4 = 244 and 65*2 = 130 ..so can say first is greater.
recirpocals help u in many ways.at least upto 12 is important.adjusting the fraction will take more time.but suppose u have the follwoing fractions,
4/7,5/8,7/12 and u have to sort them...
4/7 is aprrox 57%(14% *4)
5/8 is 62.5% (12.5 % *5)
7/12 is 58.33%( 8.33% * 7)
so it helps if u know if 1/12 = 8.33% etc etc etc ..saves time...
