A cow was standing on a bridge, 5feet away from the middle of the bridge. suddenly a lightning
express with 90 miles/hr was
coming towards the bridge from nearest end of the cow.seeeing this the cow ran towards the
express and managed to escape
when the train is one feet away from the bridge. if it would have ran to opposite direction
(ie away from train) it would have been
hit the train one ft away from the end of the bridge.
Calculate the length of bridge.

Calculate the length of bridge.
lets take the distance of trian from bridge = y+1 v be sppedof train and 2d be length of bridge p be the velocity of cow

so we have

y/v=(d-5)/p

y+d/v=d+4/p

sub both we get d/v=9/p we need one more variable

may be their spped ratio to find the ans

एक जीत ओर हार से कोइ सीकंदर या फकीर नही बनता|

b) 1. no of persong telling the truth is greater than no of persons telling lies
2. person 5 is telling the truth.[/QUOTE]

for a its option E

there are two possibilities:

4ppl speak truth and one lies

3 speak truth and two lies

for 1st possibility definitely person 1 lies while all the rest speak truth.then the number comes 7

but for 2nd possibilty only 5th person can speak lie in addition to 1.no unique number can be found out.

hence option e

for 2nd question its option e going by the same reasoning

along with 5th person either 1st person is right or 2nd person is right.when 1st person is right then 3rd person is wrong.then 4th is also right since number of truths greater than lies.

so N= 4

if 2nd person is right then N = 7

so for this also its option E
