the numerator is divisible by 16+8+4+2=30
and the denominator is divisble by 3

so i think remainder should be 0??

See, remainder when 2*(2^100 +1) will be divide by (2^100 +1) will be Zero not 1 and when -2 is divided by (2^100 +1) it will give remainder of -2
=> final remainder in above expression would be -2

1)In a race of 500 m,L beats M by40 sec and beats N by 12 5mm.If M and N run a 500m race,M beats N by 40 sec.Find the time taken by M to run the race?

280 is the ans.

Also find the speed of N??
ans is 1.5625 m/s.

2) In a 100 m race,Ajay gives bala a start of x m(x>=20) ands is beaten by him by Y m(y<=20).
If the speeds of both are distinct.which of the following cannot be the ratio of the speeds of ajay and bala?

ans is 9:10

16+8+4+2+1 = 31 and divided by 3(2+1), the remainder is 1 only........
Is it correct?.....
