I applied remainder theorem.
If ax^2 + bx + c is divided by (x-k) then remainder is f(k) = ak^2 + bk + c
If ax^2 + bx + c is divided by(x+K) then remainder is f(-k) = ak^2 - bk + c

Vineet attends an IPL game in Delhi and estimates that there are 50,000 fans in attendance. Rahul attends an IPL game in Bangalore and estimates that there are 60,000 fans in attendance. A league official who knows the actual numbers attending the two games note that:
i. The actual attendance in Delhi is within10% of Vineet's estimate.
ii. Rahul's estimate is within 10%of the actual attendance in Bangalore.
To the nearest 1,000, the largest possible difference between the numbers attending the two games is
(A) 10,000 (B) 11,000 (C) 20,000 (D) 21,000 (E) 22,000

I guess this is quite a simple question , but my answer doesnt match the one given... thats y...
A clock loses 10 mins every hour, it shows the correct time @ 1 a.m. on Sunday. When will it next show the correct time?
my Ans : 1 a.m. on Wednesday.
Ans given = 1 p.m. on Wednesday
whats the correct answer?

See,the clock loses 10 min ever hour.........So the next correct time will be shown when the clock loses 12 hrs......For the clock to lose 12 hrs,the time taken is 12*60/10=72 hours.........But it has alread lost 12 hours......So the actually 72+12=84 hrs have passed.......So the time is 1 pm on Wednesday..

my ans is E)
50,000 -10% =45,000
and next 60,000 is 90% of total so total is 66600
therefore diff is 21600 =22000
