CAT 2008: QQAD Practice Test Discussions

Hi I gave the paper this friday..

not a great performance in this easy paper....

@ Arav how is the performance.
I need to incerase my speed.
I like geometry, in this paper i did most of the geometry problems.

anyways a nice paper, but CAT people dont give so much geomtery these days

See, you just can't have this comment based on just one CAT (2007). Look at CAT 2006, it had good number of geometry questions. This test had in all 32% of Geometry + Mensuration.

CAT 2008 might be skewed towards some topics, but we don't really know that with certainty. It might be a very good and balanced paper, or might be an absolute rubbish. At our end, we can ensure to be prepared with every topic. QQAD papers in future also will be balanced like Test 2. After all, aim of the examiner is to test you holistically well on all your areas of skill-sets/aptitude. If the examiner introduces his/her biases in making some paper, then let it be that way, not many can help in that.

A good student in quant should have managed 36+ here. The cut-off score for 96 percentile is 30 marks in this paper. The highest by a QQAD student was 55 in this test.

The frequency of these tests is once in a month (in the 1st week). Two have been delivered, and 4 are more to go
