I think after reading the answers here, most of you would be wondering as to what stopped you from scoring 50+ in this paper. Find the answer to this yourself.

Aarav I became blank today seeing the paper..
in d evening i sat with the paper again n i cud clearly see thru the answers...

This happened with me even in the 1st mock...
Aarav please do advise... im getting scared now... this happens in evry test..

Calm your nerves -> you are putting extra pressure on yourself to perform and that is not letting your being your natural self. Yaar, I feel the only time a person should get scared of is before getting married -> bachpan se exam likhte aaye hain, ismein darr kis cheez ka -> fail hone ka, kaun mai ka laal zindagi mein fail nahin hua hai?

I had initially planned to max my score with quant in cat... but now it seems as if i becm blank if at all ne one places a paper in front of me... thats wot bothers me...
one gr8 learining from this test is: the calmer is your mind the better u perform..

Question 22
For any latin square of order 3 ( made of 0,1,2) , say L
we can make 3!.3! =36 latin squares by rearranging the rows and columns
Of these 36 one will be L and other M

Now observe that M is formed from L by doing one column operation .
Column 2 <-> Column 1
changes L into M

now we need to prove that for any L and M which are orthogonal we can find k( k>0) more latin squares which are orthogonal to both L and M only then L and M should not have any common row or column.


Suppose N be any latin square which is orthogonal to both L and M
then a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i in set {0,1,2}
if N is orthogonal to L then N can't be orthogonal to M

I am having difficulty proving this analytically, but the fact that they have a common column makes it easy to see that this is impossible to achieve
