Season III - Quant Question A Day CAT 2008 -

Dear All,
We are pleased to announce the start of the 3rd edition of Quant Question A Day (QQAD) for CAT 2008.
QQAD will take off from May 1st and will go till the 1st week of November uninterrupted. Each day a question will be delivered in your mailbox at 7 am in the morning. The discussion to the questions will take place on the threads opened on PagalGuy.com - the people with early right answers to the question will find their names mentioned in the NL (NewsLetter) of next day's QQAD that will have a new problem along with the official solution to last day's problem. Depending on students need - we will always be flexible for changes in terms of number of problems delivered daily and level of toughness of these problems :-)
The newsletter's philosophy is simple - to help CAT aspirants solve quality questions from Quantitative Ability daily and develop skills to tame the CAT exam. The questions in this newsletter have been carefully designed to strengthen your fundamentals and concepts. We will ensure that you learn as much as possible by solving a problem daily. By the end of QQAD 2008 - 80 percent of Quant concepts will be covered through daily problems and tests. In recent years, the CAT exam has been consistently moving away from being a speed game to being a concept-heavy game. The focus now is more on accuracy, so getting the correct answer in the very first attempt is very important. The CAT problems have lately been quite raw where minimal amount of formula remembrance is required and your basics are tested. QQAD will be on similar lines. The problems here are slightly tougher than the actual CAT quant problems, be patient while solving them :-). On an average, cracking a QQAD problem should take 5 to 6 minutes.
At the height of problem solving mania, QQAD threads would have more than 1500 views daily and it managed to build 13000 subsciber base in 2 years. We are indebted to people who sustained QQAD in previous years. Churning out quality questions day after day is not an easy job. Vineet wouldn't be able to design problems this year due to his new assignments in the office.
Not many knew who I'm and I'd to answer this regularly last year - so let me say few words about myself.
I'm a DU graduate in Maths Hons, MCA from Pune University, MBA from XLRI, JS and presently working with an IT firm in NCR :-)
Attached is a practice test along with solution for newbies who haven't seen much of QQAD before. This test is made from last year's test questions. Attempt this and check the level of prepration required to crack CAT. Last year's QQAD students may chose to skip this.
Success is always judged by the results - this has always been our mantra. We will try our best to ensure that each one of you who solve QQAD problems do very well in the quant section of CAT 2008. This was the aim in last years and this would always be the end aim in future as well.

Hello All,
If you have already subscribed to QQAD before then you need not subscribe again unless you want change of email ID where the questions will be delivered. We will send a NL tomorrow - in case some from the old list want to unsubscribe.
