Yeah..this is the ryt method..
I tried it like this...

for B getting two consecutive 7's...
(1,6)
(2,5)
(3,4)
(4,3)
(5,2)
(6,1)
In the first attempt If he gets any one of this....this is 6/36
In the nxt attempt.......this is 6/36
so.....1/36

so...probability of a winning is A * B'(since independent)
1/36*(1-1/36) = 35/1296

hi,
i have used the following hypothesis...
A wins in turn 1 (means we get 12)

A doesn't win in turn 1 (means we don't get 12)
B wins in turn 2 (means we get 7)

A doesn't win in turn 1 (means we don't get 12)
B doesn't win in turn 2 (means we don't get 7)
A wins in turn 3 (means we get 12)

and so on...
we get an infinite GP...

i don't know whether this is the correct approach but just had a try...

@Dare

yaar ye consecutive 7s aane ke kya matlab hain can anyone explain me

approach is

Lets us supppose A win

A + A'B'A + A'B'A'B'A + A'B'A'B'A'B'A + ......... upto infinity

where A is the proability of winning of A and B is the proability of winning of B and
A' is the proability of losing of A and B' is the proability of losing of B and

hi shivam,
i have used the same approach...
but some how kuch gadbad ho raha hai...

@dare2
what is meant by consecutive 7s?
does it mean - once A gets 7 then B shud also get 7 to win...? or anything else...?
