Hi Frnds plz try to solve this:::: Mr. Basu, the managing director of XYZ
company asked five persons—Asit, Barun, Chandra,
Danny and Eshita—about their interest in a new
project. The replies he got were: Asit: None of us is interested. Barun: One of us is interested. Chandra: Two of us are interested. Danny: Three of us are interested. Eshita: Four of us are interested.
From his experience, Mr Basu knows that those
who are interested only tell the truth and others
lie. How many of them are interested in the new
project?

Let n!=1*2*3*......*n for integer n>=1. If p=1!+(2*2!)+(3*3!)+....(10*10!), then p+2 when divided by 11! leaves a remainder of

if we use this in our case
then p= 1! + 3!-2! + 4!-3! +...........+11!-10!
p= 11!+1-2! = 11!-1 (rest all terms will cancel out)

I have a few queries and I don't know whether this is the right place or not but since they r related to Quant, i m asking here :
1. I wanted to know if there is some thread or link that anyone here knows where I can find the complete study material for Quant?( chapterwise), that is where all fundas are explained systematicaly and chapterwise ????
2. Also, since i m starting prep chapterwise, is there any way by which i can find questions on PG related to a particular chapter????

for 3
let the number of children in 1st 2nd 3rd row be a-d,a,a+d resp.
a=210 n d=3(given)
similarly for 5,6,7
but it is not possible for 4
Ans. B)4
Alternately,

i think ans should be either (d)=1....or (c)=2
1 because theres only one whos agrreing to all of them being intereted in project.
and 2 may also be the ans because there are only two people who are talking about the majority....
