The cut-off i.e. 96 percentile score in the tests were as following
Test 1: 34
Test 2: 32
Test 3: 61
Test 4: 26

However, if one were to take these tests knowing well in advance on the cut-off percentiles then add 33% more than what you are expected to get in the test for the cut-off score. That would be a fair assessment on the performance.

but i think ans. is (a)-1/4,as if we take p^2+q^2=1/2 and pq=1/2
we satisfy condition-p2 + pq + q2 =1and we get ans.1/4 which in any case is greater than 2/9.
