CASELETS + LOGICAL REASONING (No puzzles)

Please Dont Post a question before the previous one is solved .We will be taking 1 problem at a time .
And no puzzles plzz as there is a separate thread for them .

Whosoever gets it right wud present the detailed explaination ..

or we may have posts for discussion on that very problem until we get to a perfect solution.

Once junta has grasped the approach , we will move on to next quest .

The person who gets it correct shall post the next question and so on ....

And try to benefit from the discussion....Thats more important than posting our looking at the solutions ....

One word of caution. The letter 'Z' is added by you so there can be any letter among the question which can be zero. I mean the condiiton that every alphabet is a diff digit is true excluding Z.

Eight women, including Ms Irwin, went into a department store to buy one item each. Each went directly to the floor where the item she needed was sold, made the purchase, and left immediately. please take care of the allignment here ...all the alphabets of each line are aligned ... from left to right ....


Note that the leftmost letter can't be zero in any word. Also, there must be a one-to-one mapping between digits and letters. e.g. if you substitute 9 for the letter E, no other letter can be 9 and all other E in the puzzle must be 9.

Great question man..........Have reached to some conclusions after the analysis of the problem, But yet to reach a solution. I am in office, so U can understand.I will try it tonight, anyways, if someone solves it please mail the approach/ reasoning you went for along with the solution.

The problem with DI is that few want to solve caselets daily and fewer actually want to type DI kinda long caselets. But, I guess that shouldn't hinder this thread from rocking :-)

But we need to destroy question number 1 b4 we can move ahead ...After the first quest is solved ur question will be ON ...and we will follow a numbered sequence for questions ....
