Square root of a number is always positive.
See, the
roots maybe both +ve and -ve, but when we speak of square roots.. it's always the
+ve root that we take.
I'm yet to find an explanation.. "why do we take the +ve root and why ignore the -ve ?"
Some say that's the definition.. but can sonmeone throw some light into this ?
