The last recipe from me from the topic of numbers just to revise some of the important concepts.................

1. Find the last three digits of 7 ^ 9999

2. S = { 1,2,3,4,5,.................,2999,3000}. P is a subset of S such if x belongs to P, 2x does not belong to P. Find the maximum number of elements in P

3. N= [sqrt(2) + sqrt(3)]^1980 . Find the immediate digit that is after the decimal point of N. Also find the digit that immediately precedes the decimal point of N.

4. Mr and Mrs. Ram have invited 3 couples for a small part. Certain number of shake hands took place. No person shook hand with his/her spouse, no person shook hand with the same person more than once and of course no person shook his/her own hand. After the party Mr. Ram asked the remaining members including his wife about the number of shake hands that each them gave and to his surprise he found that everyone of them gave different number of shake hands. How many shake hands did Mrs. Ram give?

Try out these......
1)ans 143
the no of the form 125k+18 and 8k-1

Try out these......
7^9999mod 1000
euler no 1000=400
7^10000mod1000=1
7*7^9999mod1000=1
1001 =7*143
so last three digit=143
