Hi all

I am planning to take up the career launcher correspondence course and the tests. Can any one of u who joined CL last year tell me the number of tests in CL and the cost for the correspondence package.

Please tell me if the material of career launcher is good and whether the GD/PI coaching is included in the correspndence course.

Last year i joined IMS correspondence and time test series. So i thought this year joining the same inst would result in repetitive material. Do institutes upgrade their material every year. People please pour in your suggestions.

hi,

i took up the cl test series and the gd-interview programme at bangalore.
i dont know where u r located, but i can tell u of bangalore. the test series costs 2500, has abt 12 tests, along with some home tests.
the gd-pi wasnt included in the test series, but cant say abt correspondence course.
i suggest u give a call to the cl guys an dfind abt for urself.
i found the tests quite good, but the gd-pi classes were better, there were some really good pl, and we had a rocking time at the practise gds.

in terms of material, i really think all the instis would be nearly the same, i suggest u find out the quality of students that enrol, this would especially become imp during the gd-ppi classes.

well..
i took it up seperately , after i recieved my interview calls, and the classes started on 1st week of jan.

i dont think cl has any gd-pi classes starting b4 the calls come out

If you're talking about the mock CAT tests from CL, there are 8 of them this year........was just talking to a CL faculty last week......this would be apart from the take-home tests they provide.......cost for this package would come around to something like 2k....

well, this year's CL material looks different from previous editions:smile: and I guess they have done a bit of an upgrade....but seriously, any of the material any of these institutes provide would suffice.....

yep, CL GD/PI sessions are very good, ...atleast here in Chennai:smile: .....and yep, they dont begin till the CAT is done with......

last year i took

IMS , CL TEST SERIES AND TIME CLASS ROOM PRG.

IMS AND CL TEST SERIES ENG,MATHS R REALLY GOOD.
TIME DI IS DECENT

wa a cl student in b'lore

the material wasnt too gud...but i believe they have upgraded it this year....also quality of mocks wasnt gr8...but this time i believe even ims wasnt gr8.....so cant say much abt it....
now abt gd/pi.....the best in the business is cl...but it depeneds on the place ya doin it from...cos cl in delhi is the best but when compared to banagalore it is a lil less in quality....

read in oine of the posts that quality of people joining matters....u cant really have a say in it now can ya.....fr instance....in some sessions in b'lore we had this fab crowd but is some sessions it was pathetic....


the cl gd/pi starts in 1st week jan....and this time i think there were 12 mocks rather than 8 as someone said...also they give ya full length tests or carry hoime tests which i think was 16 this year.....

abt time great di& overall gr8

cl had easy english & good new questions onquants& di
ims superb english ub solveable di sets

no words for pt it was not worth it at all

The correspondence course that you are talking about will have 16 Full Length Tests aka FLTs

I messed up my DI last year.
And this is one section, I wanna really concentrate on for the time being.

Which one of the following - IMS,TIme,CF,CL - have the best/innovative/creative/
DI material?

Any suggestions, on how I can go about improving my Apti in DI will be lot of help.
