thanks a lot for the wishes...
i would say i really need the wishes..
kehte hain na ke....duaaoon mein bahut asaar hota hai....

the problem is that i have 2 months in hand & i am totally free now adays........
is liye soocha ke kyon na thoda MBA ke studies he shuru kar doon..... i really have no idea howz the atmosphere in SCMHRD?

PPL. SAY THAT ITS REALLY VERY STRICT & HECTIC......

hey...afaik, symbi folks are real outgoing ppl....u can have a lot of fun there....i've been there once..... college had a good crowd....but yea..acads wise....i was told it was the equivalent of a military school :!: ......mebbe some puneites could add more...

well...cygwin is a unix emulator for the windows platform (http://cygwin.com)....u can run most unix apps in cygwin without u needing to have a separate unix machine..... works fairly well..i'm told....but ie...if u figure out how.....i last tried it a coupla years back..... back to it again now as i just saw the cd lying around

hii ankita..wat i feel is that deejay was referring to some books which u need b4 u get an admisssion..
i have a few frds in iim-c and i am doin my mcom along with ca..so here are a few books which u might find in your course at simb..
1)operations research--v.k kapoor
2)principles of managemanet-dr.l.m prasad
3)organisational behaviour--dr l .m prasad
and if ur are from a non-commerce background you can consulta ny food book on accs such as hanif or maybe grewal shukla

the books they use at ur college they gonna tell you but standard books for some subjects i know I can tell you are :-

Mkting -- Philip Kotler ( my fav )

Finance -- khan & jain , I M Pandey

Organization Behaviour -- Robins

Management -- LM Prasad , Stoner

Human Resource -- Robins

Mkting Research -- Malhotra , Green & Tull

Indian Bussiness Environment -- K Ashwathapa

and if u wanna know for any specific subject than let me know the name of the subject I will let you know the best author for it .

and for accounting I dont know bcoz Im not at all good in it . Once I was caught sleeeping in the class .
