hey compete,
i had attended byju's classes for cat '08 in bangalore.and they were very impressive...good ad tough conceptual questions discussed in the class...and teaches lots of unconventional concepts and approaches.

I guess you will have a chance to attend his free demo workshop. You can attend the free Workshop and see for urself how the classes are and then decide. :-)

Hi

I am preparing for CAT 09
I am located in Navi Mumbai. I'd like to know about the best coaching centres in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai.
I've already enrolled for Career Launcher's corr.course.

How good are Byju's classes??

I am currently working, but planning to take a break and prepare for CAT full time..:-)

Thanks in advance..

Cheers
Sangeetha

Re: Coaching classes for CAT ?? - 03-07-2009, 12:32 AM

Puys...please listen to my case and give me ur valuable suggestion

I stay in Bangalore...I have been TIME's kormangla student twice...This year too I want to join some coaching class..just to be in touch with the preparation...I wrote the talent tests of both TIME and IMS and got good scores..TIME gives concession only for its full course but I want to join the Repeaters batch, which they say is having fixed rate -i.e 10K. I have already joined its AIMCAT series though(thats a no brainer )

However, IMS has given me huge discount and I can join any of its classes(full or classic) for much lesser than 10K. Here the advantage is that I get SIMCATS too. And it will also become a welcome change, as from past 2 years I went to TIME classes that too same center.

Apologies for the length of my story...
So my question here is...how do you rate IMS in Bangalore (preferrably in Koramangla - if someone was/is a student there) ? ...from the previous threads I can see that people are more inclined towards TIME than IMS...But they all have mentioned - AIMCATs and Peer strength & value as the factors.
I want to know how good is the IMS faculty ? Is it good enough and is it comparable to TIME faculty(Being a TIME student for 2 years I don't rate them so high) ?

CAT 2008: OA : 98.19
XAT 2009: OA - 98.54
