Hi Adarsh,
Introversion/ extroversion is no basis for selection/ rejection so first get this fear out of your mind.
You should be sincere and honest in your responses. If you have an interest in Finance, by all means say so! You do not have to be an expert in Finance to be interested in it(otherwise what would you do in an MBA? )
at the same time you should be able to justify what it is you find interesting in finance, so u should definitely have some idea about it.

Will it be good idea to say that I want to go in finance?
will they grill me too much on finance if said that?
Or should I stick to CRM consulting as my career goal?
I feel, I am a very introvert person and Interviewer will judge it will quickly,So consulting can be problematic as well.
Please suggest

I sincerely wish I had an answer to this question which I could copy-paste and tell all my students!
But the fact of the matter is: that would be my answer, not yours! You need to reflect and get in touch with your ambitions, desires and dreams. How? Ask yourself: what do you want to be in life? The funny part is, you can charter a way of getting there almost without exception with an MBA on the way. The answer to your question will automatically emerge.

I don't see any reason you shouldn't. Just be prepared to answer what would you chose: an MBA or the job if you get the choice... Quote:

Hi Kritika!
Yours definitely looks like a good academic profile till XII. What will help you to judge your graduation performance is your rank in your course.
You should always focus on your area of strength in your intro so I don't see any issue in discussing your school life there.

Sir would you call this is an academically a good profile??...I am unable to rate my graduation result...on one hand because its economics ppl generally tend to score less but then on the other hand ppl have also been able to score in 70's.
One more query is that as i have been very active in my school in extra curricular activies i tend to start my intro in a PI by focussing on my school...does this give a bad impression??
Looking for a early reply...my GDPI is just after 3-4 days!...Thanks in advance. | Career Launcher's Personality Development Program.

Dear Koodaz,
Would like to know what exactly you are wanting this for? Are you already pursuing your MBA or something else?

1. Write these answers down
2. show them to a mentor and get them corrected
3. Give these answers in a mock interview
4. incorporate the feedback you get in the mock interview to make your answer more robust.

Hi Pankaj!
The hard fact is that preparing for CAT is not a full time activity.
Having said that, I think your best line of defense can be that you were so comitted to your dream of doing MBA from a good school that you decided to put your heart & soul into it and leave no stone unturned...

Assuming that your MIB stands for Master of International Business you can justify the shift by demonstrating your organizing abilities and outgoing nature through your extra-currics...

Dear Arul,
Beware of over-confidence as a GD is much more than just GK and current affairs: its not a quiz.
Regarding your break, I don't see any reason for them to disbelieve you if you speak the truth with supporting data and facts.
If you want a laundry list/"skins" of weaknesses, just take a pen and paper and start thinking about all your enemies to begin with, then other people...But I don't think that is going to help you understand yourself, which is the key to good performance in a PI.

Well I had chicken pox during one of my semester and got the entire semester washed out but the here in anna university they give an U(Fail) even if actually i am absent, and if I say the truth will the panel believe me???So what else can I say???
Another question on the weakness ???Well it would be of great help if you can give some examples of strengths in weakness skins. | Career Launcher's Personality Development Program.
