Hi puys,
Sorry probably im posting out of context post. but TIME 0816 was nightmare for me.Pathetic performance . im so sad and gloomy. i was like what the hell is this paper at the time of test. couldnt recall the simple formulae. even got confused between incentre and circumcentre. the VA was like mount everest , Judgement fact questions were complete wash out. Was a very very bad day for me.
I have appeared in CAT before but this year im quite serious . Im working and my office is in Nehru Place Delhi and my residence is ramprastha, near Anand Vihar, Delhi.
Any CAT aspirant who stay around these two places and interested in exchange of MOCK papers as well as combined study please PM me.
we can interact as soon as possible. Even we can form a group, if more people want to join. please PM me.
Hope will get some strong hands to help me out
Regards,

Indeed. Consider that for the price of every single test at Time you could get yourself a tome on Cat prep.

Lets see will finalise in couple of days..!!
Any more suggestions are welcomed | Hi,
Indeed. Consider that for the price of every single test at Time you could get yourself a tome on Cat prep.
I don't wish to tread on any toes, but I feel these buggers at Time have got to be kidding - 4500 bucks for 15 odd tests works out to be around 300 odd chips per test. Considering it costs them 1,- buck max. to print each paper - also it definitely takes lesser energy to set unsolvable questions than it does to solve them - IMHO, it really is outlandish what they ask, and more so, what we sheep-like customers are prepared to pay, mostly based on
a misapprehension of seemingly staggering claims in fancy adverts.
If 40,000 + students at Time can garner 750 IIM seats, after paying 19,000,- each, I would suggest that their success ratio is not very greatly
higher that for the test as a whole, more so as a significant number
give the test 'just for fun' ( a fun way to spend a boring Sunday in November, I suppose), without any prep. whatsoever.
[All figures rounded for my convenience ]
Moreover, by offering 'heavy' discounts for the Test Series to people likely
to do well on the test anyway, they enhance their figures even further.
Year for year, this turns into a virtuous circle for them - the figures are bolstered and the fees are raised, and people are even readier to pay in
sufferance.

Amen. | A good argument. I visited TIME yesterday. So i would like to bring to fore a few points.
TIME provides 15 AIMCATs + 15 Omets + 5 Mocks + 5 CRTS. Don't exactly remember to full forms, but these are full-length Mocks... So the total comes to 40 tests. And the fees they are charging for non-discounted people is 4250. So that comes to 106.25 bucks per paper...
So altough i agree that the price they are charging is as you said outlandish... but the other options are not much cheaper when you consider the per paper prices... PS: These are my views. And i am no way advertising TIME. In fact, i am myself not sure i'll join them coz they are charging so high.
