I am Devanand Trying to attempt CAT for the first time . I am working as software engineer with 1.4 years xperience. I just want to know How to start the prepartion is it with the quant ,or vocab,or ...........

Well friend, it all depends on with which section u need most practice... take a sample test and do an in-depth analysis. See, in which areas u are good and which areas need to be taken care of... That way, u can analyse ur strength and weaknesses.

here for change i wil post a small formula but an intersting one..
1/(a1*a2)+1/(a2*a3)...........1/(an-1*an) = n-1/(a1*an)

example

1/(1*2)+1/(2*3)+.........

where a1,a2...an are 1,2,3........n

its from progressions u can check it out by using numbers....
