Good Question, but the options to the questions are absurd! :(
For e.g. finding out the numbers (corresponding to on lamps) would be a long task (is there a formula, or the long route by the no of factors?), but for the first one one didn't have to try at all! can go by the options!

only perfect squares will be having odd no. of factors so the lamps having odd no. of factors will be switched on and the perfect squares in 1 to 1000 are 31. so only 31 lamps will be switched on as they were off in the begining and the last lamp which will be turned on will be the last perfect square i.e. 961.

but i got a slight doubt... raj, others, could you decipher the year of manufactor of each card? I couldn't get the year for the Indica & Zen! maybe i'm missing something... But decided on 3 (4) bcoz it was sure that the price of scorpio couldn't be decided!
