Rituraj,
People who give professional reviews will not do it all the time for free. Why? cause they have their own concerns to address. The ones who are willing to review are the ones who are either jobless, or the ones who are really hooked on to PG.
so you got to be content with the quality of review done here

who rules here? hmm.... wld i be considered diplomatic if i say that the ones who post here to get their SOP's reviewed are the one who rule this thread...

Bharath
There is no way i would criticize or demean the quality of a phillanthropic work..
You guys are doing good & deserve kudos for that, not selective appreciations & criticism...
i just wanted to know abt the ppl who started the thread becasue i have read about 100 initial pages of this thread & they were very active.
so that is why i am not sure how the quality of the reviews has been off late... I soon will be posting my SOP for IIMC here & hope to get a thrashing, if I deserve it.. :-

Hi Ritz

Good luck to your application. I have been assisting others in crafting their resume/CV, application essays, reference etc for their application to MBA and career switch.

Let me know if you need any help.

I wish you all the best.

Kind regards,
Thomas

I don't think a personal visit is feasible. maybe the documents you submit are the ones they use to verify.
Salary slip and a recommendation letter from someone in your office should be just enough for them to confirm that you have the stated work-ex.

Police verification is not done for Work Experience. In case the college you are applying to is in Delhi, or in the same city you are working, then maybe they will have a personal visit, else it wld be just Telephonic. Infact, i don't think there will be any verification at all. most colleges would ask you to sign a MoU, that any data disclosed by you if found incorrect, you can be dismissed.

For the "Single Event" or "Personal Experience" essays, does anyone know how AdComs will evaluate them?

i.e., If I talk about a personal event, does it necessarily have to be about an area which will impact my career, or is it ok if it's about something that has changed me as a person?

Cheers
