Our issue with such threads that collate a lot of stuff is basically this. The chances of copyright violation spike up a lot when you have a lot of stuff posted like this.....And that is something that we will have nothing of !! Please do get that clear

please tell me which stuff is copyrighted....? I have checked most of it and it isn't copyrighted..... Well they may have been published by known authorities like TIME or IMS or PT but they were freely available on the web to download to one and all.... All i have done is collated everything and put it under one place for it to be available to everyone very easily..... As regards ur idea of a long thread......YES! the thread has become very long, because this is what i intended.....to collate everything under one roof....

So u will agree, that i am doing a good cause.....

So my sincere request, not to remove any file and even if u do so, please let me know which file is objectionable, so that i don't re-post it in the future (if i do, by mistake.....)

You might have a future as an oracle, but that is not my concern...The issue here is also related to the fact that hardly any active mod is taking up CAT...And that would mean we need to be helped as much by the community as anyone....It is not a rule of the mods that copyrighted stuff wont be allowed, but as a community we must learn to appreciate copyright for what it is if we are to be pragmatic and stop being leeches !!!

To all the folks that have downloaded, plz do pm one of the mods in case you find there's anything that might be copyrighted...And Gaurav, please do exercise your own discretion in posting stuff....And yea,in a community like ours, whilst ppl may not post back saying thanks, ppl do remember good work...So I guess your shouts for more-enthu-reqd might not elicit anything more than what has been seen But yes, good work

Hi Rachit, i am sorry bro, i can't do much in that..... i just posted the stuff as i got it from hari..... What u can try doing is that u solve the problems ur way and then post them on the thread..... and ask others to solve them too.... So when someone comes up with an answer..... u can cross-check....!!

See, the point is not who published it first. Was it, as a matter of their policy, meant for sharing and distributing?? If thats the case, then yes, that would be fair use. But if you think you are doing them a great service by promoting samples, then no, that would be violation at eod....There's a simple rule in the copyright jungle...When in doubt, don't

Good post mod. Yes, I'll try not be a leech. Also, I'll report to you about any patented/copyright stuff. I also do not see any future in being a soothsayer, an MBA will probably be a safer bet!

Well the stuff is unbranded...... there's no name tag on it.... yes! some stuff from manya group has been posted but it was put up in rediff.com and was freely available to download...... So here again, the same thing is happening..... Now whther ppl download it from rediff.com or from pagalguy.com , doesn't make a difference...
