- Pilot on the announcement system in the Bangalore-Mumbai flight.
The airhostess quickly explained this mistake by saying that it is an after effect of turbulent weather.

"You are putting my life on risk"
estranged_gnrs to the lady passenger whose mobile phone was not switched off in the aircraft. This was the same lady who earlier complained to the air hostess to ask all puys to stop making so much noise.

"This is a more serious offence than making noise"

The air hostess politely came and asked all of us to remain silent as other people would sleep, but the turbulence did not allow anyone to sleep.

Most interesting luggage of the meet:
A mysterious air bag which was added as part of our luggage when we got down at the resort.

It was actually bag of the driver/cleaner of the Jai Maharashtra volvo which had many ciggarette packs.

After overcoming my initial laziness, I am now posting a more detailed account of the meet. The takeaways can be read here.

Day 1

1900: SR is super-excited at the prospect of taking his first...yes...first ever plane journey.

2015: SR and Adityacoool take off for Bangy.

2200: News comes in that the plane will be heading to the new Bangy airport instead of the old one.

2300: The plane circles Bangy, because the landing is being prepared for.

0000: Adityacoool and SR become the first puys to land at the new Bangy airport.

0050: Take a nice, freezing

AC volvo bus to satanica's house.

0150: Meet satanica, monsty, and ani_svnit.

0240: have dinner and get back to satanica's place.

0340: Chit-chat, occasional spamming on PG, and daaru going on. (The creeps did not arrange for orange juice for me, as promised earlier.

)

0500: Everyone's sleepy, so they plan to wake up at 1100, and drive to the resort.

0510: Adityacoool and me veto the plan, and decide to take the 0800 bus.

0530: Ani dozes off.

0545: So does Satanica

0600: Monsty wants to sleep, but we stop him. We spam a bit more.

0700:

0745: We wake up ani and get everyone to freshen up. Satanica is

Day 2

0845: We board the bus, and meet more folks. I look

for priya_dream's infamous boat.

0915: Tired, but not sleepy. Feeling great to meet so many rocking folks

Introductions

1000: Dozing, waking, dozing. Ani is taking revenge for his disturbed sleep, by not letting me sleep.

1130: Puys begin 'daaru shopping'

1230: We reach the resort.

1315: Lunch

1345: More intros

Harsha threatens me with dire consequences if I don't go away and get some sleep.

1445:

Just can't sleep! Try every conceivable way, but

no sleep. Go back outside.

1500: The Jai Maharashtra volvo's passengers are eating food. Meet them, and talk.

1600: TT, Crikkit, chai, talking, meeting folks.....

1845: I ask someone..."Isn't Bugs Bunny here?" The someone points to a chap standing next to him, grinning. That's Bugs. The scene reminds me of the Bugs Bunny cartoons, where Elmer Fudd questions people, "Didja see a wabbit? Didja?"

1900: The festivities begin.

Awards, acceptance speeches, intros et al. Me blabbers gibberish at my PUYscar acceptance speech. Some people boo me.

0100:

After a rocking rock show, hunger takes over. Food is served.

I find out that Apurv and I were classmates long long ago.

0245: I finally decide to sleep and leave for my room.

Day 3:

0930: I wake up.

Monsty and Adi are being noisy, playing music.

Ani is missing. :lookroun: Dabloo and Parminder are still

1000: Breakfast

1100: More catching up with folks who I hadn't met previous day followed by TT, and cricket.

1300: An improvised lunch

1400: Bidding farewell to B'lore folks and Chennuys.

1600: Preparing to leave for the airport with the Dilli and Pune gangs.

1700: After many delays, we finally depart.

1925: The flight to Dilli takes off, dot on time. Adi, Dablu, and I are sitting together. We discuss the air hostesses, and give

glances to an unkill who is ogling at them.

2025: Dablu and Adi are

I am reading.

2200: We land right on time, bid goodbye to everyone, and leave for our respective homes.

2300: I reach home, and the spamming begins!

Thoroughly enjoyed myself throughout the meet. Of course, there were areas of improvement, but overall, the meet was well-organized and well-executed. I have deliberately not named too many people who I enjoyed meeting, coz that would essentially be a list of all the folks who attended the meet.

Now, I'm looking forward to the next one already!!

Moi first AIPGM

and as usual it was awesome

First of all a very big thanks to all the volunteers especially prem_ravi, harsharocks, amrutesh666, esh.nil, macora, estranged_gnrs, Apruv, deep and all the others who spent whole of the last few weeks in planning and making AIPGM a grand success

PG ROCKS!!!!! PG RULES!!!

Got a call from HarshaRocks @ 5 AM in the bus asking how far we were from Bangalore

Thanks to the pathetic National Highway, the bus got delayed and we had to get down from the bus in front of the new Bengaluru airport

Called Prem and he told that he will be there in the next 5 mins. We sat in his car and then went to the airport where esh.nil and rocknroll were waiting for the Delhi puys

Once they arrived met with the Delhi puys

After the arrival of JTII's flight we had to wait for the bus which was supposed to take us to the Resort

Once the bus arrived met with so many puys which till now have only interacted online

Reached the Green Valley Resort at 12:30 and everyone settled down in their cottages

Had lunch after that and a quick round of introduction from everyone

After that I went to sleep but suddenly andy_jaan told that the Jai Maharashtra bus has arrived

So went to meet them while they were having their lunch

Then played a 8-8 overs cricket match in which the opposite team had around 10-11 batsmen with only 7 in our team

Whoever was standing to see the match came to bat

Later on we had the acceptance sppech by the Puyscars winners

and the quiz in which our team was not able to answer even a single kostin

Then the rock-show by Apurv, tatimatla, richa12 & vineet

You puys rock and the PG Anthem was supercoooool

Had dinner after the rock show and few of us decided to move by the poolside where sudoku began making scripts for the Ramsay brothers' next movie

and within 10 minutes almost everyone of us was sitting by the poolside

Near the pool estranged_gnrs tried to push some or the other puys including me in the pool

Jackal was searching for his shoes aksed each and everyone sitting there twice or thrice if anyone has seen his shoes

At around 3:30 decided to sleep for 2 hours as some of us had planned to leave early in the morning in mituag's car.

Am glad that I was a part of this AIPGM which was the largest till now

and once again thanks to all the volunteers for their trieless efforts to make this AIPGM a wonderful event

1. return the poor driver's bag to the travel agent, replacing the cigarettes i flicked
2. get some sleep
3. try making sense when I ***, to prove my words true
4. figure out what's wrong with 'Knockout'
5. take a pledge for not taking off my shoes around swimming pools
6. ask pandit to give my singing career another break
7. do not mask sutta hunt visits as social ones..
8. stay away from lbhic when she is in her practical jokes mood..
9. get even with nikker n puneet for the 'shoe scandal'
