This is for information of all the Puys who are arriving to or departing from Bangalore by air. The New Bangalore airport will start operations from 23rd of May. It is situated around 40 kms from city, so plan your travel accordingly.
All domestic travellers will be charged a user development fee of Rs. 675 (cash). I am not sure if it is applicable to people arriving to bangalore, but it sure as hell is applicable to anyone flying out of Bangalore.
So, make sure that it soesn't come as a shock to you.

thr was an idea as to have some sports tournament organized...be it TT/Football/Chess or kho-kho

.. idea is not to convert it to All India Sport Meet, but have a little tournament as part of fun

And we might have a little rock band also thr

(as apurv mentioned sometime back)...and few budding singers

might volunteer as well

Also guyz..thr r few bangy ppl i guess,who would love to join (at least i have a bangy pgite fren who wants to

),but due to 875 or so resort charges, they r a bit..u know

as already thr r 35 ppl from banglore...and we might have some number from chennai or some place going down...and most outside ppl paying at least for one side of journey..resort expenses of say 5-7 more ppl can be shared among bangies if not all, it wont come more than 75 or so per head...purely my opinion..

As I said earlier, there are enough big hearts which will volunteer themselves. So let us not worry about it. Just came to know that grondmaster and BUGS BUNNY will be paying for their resort charges of Rs 800. So thats not my concern. It will be something which will be managed by the community itself

Am not sure about this. Since taxes between Mum-Blore are already higher than taxes between other routes. So may be. But dekh lenge

Good news is that new airport is hardly 3-4 kms from the resort. So we save the hassle of travelling a long way from the resort to old airport and expenses too.

The taxes that you pay do not include these charges. All airlines will include these charges in their fares for Bangalore sector after 1st june. This money will go to the Bangalore International Airport Limited. so be ready to shell out extra money at airport.

There is always room for negotiation for few hours

. When you have so many pagals around...it wont be problem. Will request everyone to be problem solvers and not concern raisers

. Sab manage ho jaata hai, if you take the intiative yourself.

Really very excited..Excitement is increasing with every passing day

With so many puys, there will be smaller groups everywhere after sometime. What we can do is get some intro done around Lunch and then get set going with different games like:

- Any outdoor game league with city teams [going with the IPL theme, we can call IPL = Indian PaGaL League] .. Tennis, Badminton, Soccer, Cricket can be played.

- Swimming pool can be utilized for a game of water polo or some something like that.

- Some ice breaking games can be made, like I made one for one of the PaGaL Bday at PG HQ.

- Rock concert is on I suppose.

- rpradeep's post can be made into some small skit and played during evening snacks.

- Pool table can also be utilized for a competition between cities.

- Bar and Disco is always open for others.

- A PG Trivia Quiz can be arranged with chocolates for each correct answer.

Though this looks more like a Sports Weekend Meet, but I think we should utilize all the facilities in the resort.

Will come up with more plan or some game soon.

The group will be used to send messages and information en masse to the puys attending the meet. You can stay in touch, coordinate with others and meet at core points, et al... I'm sure we can come up with more such ideas for using the group.
