AIPGM AGENDA – LOGISTICS

We have booked a bus (VRL Travels), which will start from Majestic at around 7.30 AM.

Plan 1: If new Airport is operational

Majestic/Kempegowda Bus Nildhaana

Guys expected to board at Majestic:-

1.Hyderabad Puys coming by Bus
2.Chennai Puys coming by Bus / Train
3.Localities
4.Hyderabad Puys coming by train . These are expected to get down at Yeshwanthpur.They will take an Auto & reach majestic. These guys are expected to be the last to get into the bus.

These guys will be received by Team 1 headed by Macora (Mirchikris & others will be in his team).

Macora will be your contact person.Get his phone no.

Bus most likely will stop in front of Railway Station.

SILK BOARD/BTM

Bus to reach this spot at around 8 AM depending on arrival of the last batch of guys from Hyderabad.

Bus will be there for 15 mins near silk board junction (Towards Outer ring road).

Guys boarding at Silk Board will be received by Team 2 headed by Amrutesh-amrutesh666 (Eshnil & others will be in his team).

Amrutesh will be your contact person.Localites boarding at Silk Board get his phone no.

MARTHAHALLI

Bus is expected here by 8.45 AM & will stop for 10 mins.Exactly near Multiplex.

Team 3 headed by Harsharocks will be receiving you.

Hebbal

Bus should reach here by 10.30 AM

No team will be here. We expect one or 2 to board here.Guys can contact Any of the team leads.

Devanahalli Airport

Guys flying down from Delhi (your lead will be Tanveer) & will be my single point contact.

Hope the flight lands here by 8.15 AM. You would be received by Team 4 headed by me.

Bus is expected to reach here by 12 noon.

I should be with you guys J & we will board the Bus from here & hit the resort by 12.30

The time lines specified are all tentative. Request you all to kindly be in touch with the respective Team leads who will keep you posted on the change in the timings. We want to take you to the resort as early as possible.

Points to be noted:-

Guys who miss the Bus.

Go to Majestic Bus Stand. Board a bus which goes through Gauribidnoor Road/HinduPur Road. Get down near TB Circle. TB Circle will be some 10 KMs after Doddabelapoor.You will see the following places/towns on your way (just as land marks).

1.Hebbal
2.Yelahanka
3.Doddabelapoor

1.Localities who miss the bus. You should find your own ways to reach till the resort.

2.Out station Guys, you will be picked by me once you get down near TB Circle which 15 KMs away from the resort. I would suggest you to call me as soon as the Bus reaches Doddabelapoor.

Mumbai/Pune Junta

After you cross Tumkur(70 Kms from Bangalore), say 20 KMs, you will hit a place by name , DAVASPETTA (keep checking for this place - Ask anyone after crossing Tumkur).Once you hit this place, you need to ask for Davaspetta Road or ask for how to go to Nandi Hills via Davaspetta Road/TB circle. This road will be to your left. 35 Kms on this road, you will reach TB circle.

Plan2: Incase if the new Airport is not opened

Very Simple: Team 3 & 4 will merge & we will all board from Marthahalli.(Everything else will remain the same).

We will not go to Devanhalli, we will take the shorter route (Hebbal, Yelahanka & Doddabellapur)..

Ahoy! The trial visit to the Resort(as mentioned by Prem) was on expected lines. Couple of observations

1. The green valley resort was all dark, but thats because, we reached there by 7:30 pm . On a serious note, the place looks good, a nice getaway from the allegedly-busy-lives-that-we-live types .

2. The close proximity of those ever-important places like cigarette stall, mint shops et al is explained by Prem. So all those who indulge in injurious-to-health kinda vices, kindly help yourselves beforehand.

3. The last stretch of the journey(4 kms) is going to be nice, bumpy, tightly-hold-on-to-whatever-you-can kinda ride . On second thoughts, it should help with the digestion

4. Finally be prepared for a wet weekend , even though you might have no inclination to get into the swimming pool or purposefully forgot to bring the swimming costume. Rains expected

Now that not-so-obscure-now place(bold in the quoted post) is also spelt as Dabaspet (Just in case if someone is interested in checking it out on wikimapia) or Dobbaspete(If you're checking on mapsofindia.com)and is precisely 27 kms from Tumkur. Rest, Prem has clearly put it.
