2008 has been the best the year of my life so far, and the reasons just continue to flow

From April 2005 till date, pg has been like family to me. From a juvenile in 2005 to a much more responsible (?) contributor today - the metamorphosis has taken its time, but the recognition has come instantaneously. Thanks again, or rather no thanks business. I don't believe in thanking friends, datz against the spirit of friendship Every puy is a good friend for me, the ones who voted for me or the ones who voted for other deserving candidates. Lets take this spirit of friendship forward, lets take the spirit of pg forward. pg rocks

A vadde wala thanks to the ever growing PaGaLGuY community, truly and insanely differnt! First of all Kudos to all the administrators, moderators and the community members for making this a lively and a rocking place. I would like to dedicate my awards to the entire PG Community.

Congratulations to all the winners and those who were able to get honourable mention.

Before I should thank anyone for voting, I believe that vote counters (I know only grondmaster) deserve the greatest appreciation because they worked selflessly for this initiative.

Although margins have been very thin for some of the awards, yet I feel self-nomination could have made the difference in some of the categories. Therefore, those who have not been to able to secure a place in the list, should not feel bad as they too might have been there had they self-nominated them!!!

I would like to thank all the puys who participated in the voting, irrespective of for whom they voted. This is because, had there been no participants, there would have been no winners!!! It was a great to see you all puys working selflessly. Keep up the good work going.

Flashback: 3 months ago

I ask fellow aspirant- "You on PG?"
"Yes, whats your id?"
"Greenspan"
"Oh! GREENSPAN!!! Yaar, bahut bakar maarte ho!"
"Kya karu... sunanewale itne saare hai!!!"

I wish this acceptance speech could have been given at the eve of the AIPGM, but I just broke up with joblessness

• who could withstand the excessive use of metaphors/similes, and the windy language, without throwing up!
• who could read my posts like poetry - read things/ideas in between lines, as well as add a few ones of their own, which even the poster never intended to convey!
• who hardly read through the posts, but still judged them as something substantial, as it was long; and thanked it nonetheless!
• who took the pains of reading through the entire thing and even groaned at me, and have promptly replied to the PMs I sent them that asked "Why groan at me? Why not on your Maker?"
