Ladies & gentlemen, I know that you’ve been waiting for a long time for this. Well, here they are: the results of the PUYScars – the PG Awards 2008.
As usual, there are the expected winners, and there are the dark horses. Many categories have been won by with astounding margins. Others, with margins as slim as just one vote. Some even have to share their success of winning the category with others who have the same number of votes.
Although clear instructions were given to put in only one vote per category (except one category – where 3 votes were to be given) people put in long lists of deserving winners. However, as decided, we took in only the first entry that was listed. Due to this, probable winners may have lost out on their victory. Upsets that could have taken place didn’t, and some upsets did take place. Well, all’s fair in love & war. And the PUYScars.
People raised the sceptre of wrong voting, illegal voting et al... all that can be said to come under vote rigging. Well... these are the PUYScars, after all... you can’t expect that it won’t happen. As long as there wasn’t a major skew towards the riggers, we were ok with it. And what if there was a skew? Well, since there wasn’t, we won’t discuss that probability.
And now, to the winners. We also list some honourable mentions – candidates that lost out by a short margin, or had enough votes to create competition to the champions, or just because we felt like it. Here they go...:

| Nov 2006, a very apprehensive not so social user joined Pagalguy on behest of his one of the close friends. He used to see his friend always hooked to this forum for all the gyaan during his engg days.
1 year 6 months have gone and being acknowledged by fellow puys.. Nothing like it .
There were moments of enthusiasm to post the scores after each mock
There were moments of frustration when still lagging behind
There were moments of relief when u find u r not the only one 
There were moments of Joy when call and converts came and u did n others too  
There were moments of sadness n dejection when u were misinterpreted and faced criticism ..being judged for all bad reasons
There were moments of comeback when u put all ur energy for a single cause to win with other puys
There is going to be moment of being together.. the ultimate rendezvous..

so many moments convoluted in a single space ..single world..PG..

Wow! Seems like I'm the first to post my 'acceptance' speech.
Firstly, I'd like to thank all the voters for all their votes... It made my day to see so many 'honourable mentions' in my name across so many categories.  I honestly think PG is a great place to be to discuss not just MBA-related stuff, but also to share lots of other discussable thoughts.
I am delighted to be voted as the 'Most Intelligent Poster' in the Lounge Section, and to share the 'Most Passionate Poster' award with Murty. In fact, no wonder that Murty and I had a major argument on PMs once....both of us being passionate posters.
I have found so many wonderful friends here at PG, and I must really thank them for their constant support and encouragement, even at times when I felt I should retire from the forum.
