I'd have to agree with this. Next time i'd suggest a campaigning thread for selected candidates for a period of one week or so. (Like the nomination phase) . This should be followed up by a vote poll thread which is locked except for the polls for another period of 5 days.

And contestants, I'm sorry i wasn't selected to give you guys a run for you money, but i am looking at the campaigning with interest. Word of advice : Stop with infighting amongst yourselves and concentrate on convincing the rest of the people as to why you are THE COOLEST !!

I must say I expected the people to vote for the coolest avatar and not just the most popular user that people know of. Seriously people, we are supposed to be voting for the coolest avatar based on the campaigning that we see and then decide which is the coolest
one

So far i see kill_the_cat, diablorulez and the egonomist make a real effort at campaigning and the rest , well, buck up guys. My vote is still up for grabs . And puys , look at the campaigning and then decide your vote rather than casting your vote based on a pre-conceived notion!

Please dont allow it to become a rivalry between just two people based on completely different parameters. One is getting a popularity vote and the other one who hasnt campaigned at all is getting 'proxy' votes (if i may say that).

No offence meant to anyone and I am saying that as a pg user I expect a contest!!!!!!!!

My vote is up for grabs to anyone who can impress me with the campaigning (if my vote really makes a diff, which I doubt given the present scenario)

And lastly, dont take any of this personally guys, just expressing my concerns as a member of this madness!

If anyone has problems with anyone's style of campaigning, please PM me or nikhilkulk. We will look into the matter and try to explore more opportunities for us to take bribes

I can see more fun when coalitions happen.Creativity is not just about using web design tools and putting them up here.It is also about convincing others, why the junta should vote for you and in turn campaign for you. By whatever means .
Scare the leaders with your campaigning and trust me, by the end of this contest, the most in demand people will be the contestants who have less votes ( pssst..remember the POWER which can be wielded by independent candidates ).

For those who are still to make up their minds about voting and are looking for the COOLEST Avatar in the true sense here is an oppurtunity to make up their minds. PUG got a few cousins to dress up as the competitors to show that PUG PARTY is better than the original avatars. VOTE FOR THE PUG.... The most original and brilliant mascot.....

Puys, Puys!! I came back from a BIIIIG inter-city PG meet held in a place called Yelagiri in down south of India and saw that there were only 7 days for the campaigning to end and for Papa Einstein’s stay to come to an end. No, not my stay in PG, that will be for eternity. No not my stay in India either, hope you remember I still have that Allwinvitation for the AIPGM in May.Hmm..Yes, I am speaking about my stay in this madness, in these moments of insanity and cut-throat competition called the Coolest Avatar Contest.

Seeing the difference oops…, (that’s too less a word I guess), the gulf between the current leading contestants and me, I thought of taking a break and chill off my remaining days of stay somewhere else. But wait! Why should stop? Yes, I agree. It might be very difficult and even a futile attempt to try and garner nearly ten times my number of votes and wins this contest. But there is a bigger picture than this right?.

If Einstein’s stay in PG and his stories of fun experiences makes a handful of puys, yes even a handful enjoy, then there can’t be a bigger satisfaction for myself to enjoy or a greater reason for me to continue posting here throughout my stay.




Before signing off for today, here is three more of Einstein’s Gyaan to not disappoint my cat-belling puys who might have been waiting for them.

2.14 After reading the gyaan on belling the cat that I had posted in my previous posts, I got numerous Private Messages. Asking what? For more of Einsteinian insights on the question patterns of a cat papers. So I have given one example for practice. Don worry, it is not taken from any previous actual/mock papers.

Yes, I know it might be a little, yes a little confusing. From what I have been able to gather, these types of questions are the trickiest guys. Normal sane thinking doesn’t help sometimes. Think different. Think insanity. For some hints, read the next gyaan tip.

2.15 As I always say, “The very purpose of education is to train the mind to think”. So I won’t give you the solutions as they normally do in coaching institutes. I have given below some hints and initial steps. Hope you all easily understand it and proceed from there to solve the problem. After all, we are all insanely different right?. 2.16 Some puys had asked me for clarifications during the meets on the simultaneity of speed and accuracy research paper that I had posted previously. Puys, accuracy in CAT is like binary logic. Either it is “0” or “1”. There are no intermediate values. Either you know it or don't know it. So depending on your predicted accuracy for a particular question, given below is the optimum speed limit with which you should go on solving questions in the cat paper Always rememeber, even change is constant.
