Hi Everyone,
Well , after discussion with prem_ravi we have finalized the dates of AIPGM as 24th and 25th of May.
So , we are confirmed on following things - Venue - Bangalore
Dates - 24th/25th May
And of course loads of fun 
Now, the bad part  .
We are still not fixed upon the sponsorships.We are trying and meeting lots of companies which may be interested but till now nothing has been committed. So in the worst case, AIPGM will be a self-funded affair as of now.
In case, we are able to gather sponsorships , we will inform you about it as soon as we get it.
Now our next step is to finalize the resort for AIPGM. Based on intial recce, it will cost around Rs 1200/- per person if we book a resort. This will include lunch,dinner on 24th and breakfast and lunch on 25th plus stay and other activities.
prem_ravi will need few volunteers for this task and I may also drop in to bangalore for negotiations and fixing the place.
This is from me guys...now start planning...date to fix ho hi gayi hai

As Rohit mentioned Iam happy & Proud to front the whole show on behalf of all..I request Bangy/Chennai/Hyd guys to volunteer. I will need some of you 1 day in advance to shoulder the burdon of receiving puys..For every group there will be one Puy from BLR who will be the incharge..let me sit with some regular guys like HR, Amru, Mac etc and jort down the Plan...Volunteers please PM me with your numbers..

Looks Like its all set!!
With a date in MAY I am all set to attend the Hatrick of AIPGMs for moi !!!
An initial look up of travel costs reveals the following :
Mumbai Bangalore: Early morning 24th flights costing around Rs. 2600 which is the least we could expect
Not sure about trains and buses!! so anyone who can find out please tell us about the same.. I dont mind a train journey oneway so taht we start the party right here and hit Bangalore

PrAnAv | I think I can manage flight one way and bus the other way.
What about we guys hitting the road by hiring a full volvo on Fri eve from Mumbai...picking up Puys from Pune on the way and reaching bangalore by Sat afternoon!
Then a flight on the way back...of course self - funded as of now

Just wondering...did you guys think about Wonder La ? Yes Yes I know it is not exactly DisneyLand or our desi Esselworld ( In a spirit of confession I have to say I have never been to all the three..  ) but from what I hear from my friends Wonderla is quite paisavool. Well considering the fact that there is no beach in Bangalore and the chances of spending a night on the beautiful moonlit night on the shores lying bareback with Jack Daniels for company,the gentle breeze caressing our cheeks,the wonderful soothing sound of splashing of the waves, with Apurv strumming his guitar,with partially inebriated Rohit and his risque "jokes" ,with others chipping in with their renditions of hindi songs whose exact lyrics I cannot recollect now ( incidentally this was one imagery I still recollect vividly from the last AIPGM meet in Alibaugh! ) is very remote it really wouldnt be a bad idea to spend the day in an amusement park. Also a perfect place to yield to the temptation of dumping every newbie who asks us veterans "why we want to do an MBA or what was our experience if we already are one " into the alluring pool
Also I can scarcely imagine many enthusiastic hands being put up for pillow fights ,riding piggyback etc tempting though they might be in a totally different context . Also maybe it would be easier to pitch up to the sponsors considering Wonderla is a public place and we would gladly sell our souls to be their mobile advertisements.
This could be for day 1. If budget permits the resort could be hired for day 1 night into mid-day of day 2.
Just a thought...

Wonderla is really good. Been there 2 years back and I am sure they have added more rides there
One concern - Does anybody have an idea when is the new airport scheduled to open coz its quite far off from the city, I guess. So the EXTRA travelling time needs to be considered I feel. | | | | | | | |

Rohit | Sounds good enough... though I also do not mind the volvo both ways, even though it may mean taking a leave or two... Probably I could also utilise my LTA that way
