All India PG Meet 2008 - 24/25th May,Bangalore

Hey people in Bangalore this is for you

Could you please tell me how far is it Bangarapet from Bangalore? I am thinking of taking a train from Bombay (Nagercoil Express) to reach for the AIPGM. The train halts at Bangarapet at 1210 hrs. I did some googling and found the town is some 70 kms from B'lore. Will I be able to reach B'lore and the venue of AIPGM from Bangarapet??? Friends, do let me know. Nagercoil Express is the only train which suits my timings - others are either early morn or night trains. And, much though i would like to come by Volvo, I know I am not rough and tough to survive the 18-20 hr grind in the bus.

Reaching is possible but difficult. This area is far away from Bangalore. Google search told me that it is near Kolar Gold fields.(The approximate distance of the station from the venue is over 100kms). For the puys who are landing in the city we can make arrangements only for those guys who can turn up at well known stations. For you to reach the venue of the meet, you will have to make efforts to come to yelahanka or hebbal flyover on your own.One of us can come and pick you up from there. Personal advice- Catch a train that has destination as Bangalore. We will be able to help you better in that case.

Only person missing is viraj.jiit. Am sorry, but could not help it. And I feel bad.

All of you , please book your tickets asap and PM Harsharocks with your flight details.Do not delay this since we will be reimbursing Rs 6000 or 75% of the ticket amount, whichever is lower.

Called viraj and he has also made some plans and he was going to inform me that he will not be able to attend the meet . So viraj is also out.

Since the number of people have reduced, I think 1 more person can be accommodated if possible.

Or, the girls (Richa and swarnali) can be given 100% discount as promised, if possible

And if still we are left with more funds, more discounts can be given to nine of the guys who are in the current list

We are already overbudget . Did not expect such a good response from femme fatales .So it is not a case of left with more funds, rather of minimising the damage of being overbudget.

People who are travelling from nearby places like Chennai,Hyderabad,Cochin,Manipal etc wil have to pay for themselevs for travel.So sorry. Cant include you in this.
