Ur an IIM passout and hence 1200-1500 is not a big deal for you..

think of the poor freshers, who are into college...

and we wud have loads of junta who have just padi ther B skool feees and for them every 100 bucks is like

I think mods should first fix up the budget and then decide the place accordingly

SOme people mite not agree to a pay a hug amount

There is this place "Wonder La" which is an awesome water park...the cost of entry / day works to around 500 apiece excluding food...given that its a weekend in peak summer it might be a bit crowded...however its a huge place and will also provide a welcome respite from the summer heat

Check with ClubCabana..Now they dont have a accomodation (Night Stay Facility) & the guy who spoke to me said that there is no other hotel/resort near by to Club cabana so that we can stay there atleast...So we might have to look at some other option (This Place was looking good though)

Especially Bengaluru puys...

before you start jumping upon each other to select locations and venues for the meet, please keep the following points in consideration:

Here's what we need from an AIPGM venue:

Place to dump our stuff. (If ppl like us are coming from out of town, then we'll be carrying a bag atleast)
Place to chit-chat with puys.
Food arrangements.
Place to talk to puys.
Place to play games, like cricket/football et al.
Did I mention a place to network with puys?
Anything local of some fame/fun, which puys can visit & enjoy there. I'm not talking about malls et al, but something more (eg if Goa, then perhaps a place like Anjuna beach et al)
Did I miss something? Oh yeah, place where puys can sit down and discuss common issues?
Oh... I forgot mentioning a place to sleep... but then, I guess it won't be required, as we'll all be conversing with puys through the night.

Place to play music & dance insanely after
A place to sit & listen to PG History & individual opinions on & experiences with Pagalguy.com

As long as any venue provides such a place, I'm in. And another thing. Wherever you keep it, just keep this in mind:

We won't have more than 24-48 hours to interact with puys. Id est, from the time we land at a central location to the time we leave. If we spend any more than 3-4 hours traveling roundtrip, I'd consider that time wasted. I'd suggest a resort on the outskirts of Bangalore, which is a much preferable option. Time saved is time spent in better interactions with puys.

Few things I absolutely would like to do at AIPGM (not in any particular order)
1. Talk
2. Listen
3. Shout
4. Dance

Few things I would not like to do at AIPGM

1. Visit tourist places built by some crazy king who didn't know what to do with his overflowing coffers, the only real use of which in centuries was made by bunty for displaying his unending love for pinky (only to come back next year and change it rosy)
2. Study the traffic jams of Bangalore in detail and send a SMS to a news channel about "woeful Infrastructure in India" which will be scrolled on the screen 78 times in a programme titled "Bharat Nirman: Sach ya kapat?" with my name inadvertently spelled wrong
3. Discuss the impact of OBC reservations on the country and whether the bar for creamy layer level should be raised from 15 lakhs to 25 lakhs. (Plots to cut -off Arjun Singh's remaining hair might just interest me though after a couple of drinks )

I hope these points are taken into consideration while zeroing on a venue. Did I ask for too much? Well... Ok you could probably ignore the last point while scouting for a venue..

My first PG meet ever....that too in the place where I am currently housed....that too on a weekend when I have no obligations at all......

SO THIS IS WHAT HEAVEN MUST FEEL LIKE!!!!

p:s: if any puys have any problems regarding accomodations, my house is always open or any other problems, I will be more than willing to extend my helping hand...

on a more serious note, mods if you need me to volunteer for anything, I will be more than happy to do that......although I dont have a personal vehicle, I will try my level best to extend all that I can do......
