Hello !

Just back from the final season finale

So finally, it does come to an end..... like all good things

It was a sure sign of how good things were that in spite of meeting almost every weekend from the week before AIPGM, we had 3 'season finales' in Pune

I never thought I'd get senti about PG meets, but heck, yes, I'll miss them

Over the last 3-4 months, they been events I've really looked forward to... and something I couldnt dream of missing...

Thanks for everything, folks ! Will always remember the great times I had and the great people I met

Now wish I'd been more active on the PG circuit from much earlier. But then, life was very different then

And for all of you who'll be staying back in Pune, you'd better have a PG meet when I am in town between terms. Ab treat bhi di hai

BTW, would request all of the Pune meet regulars to post their plans to visit pune on the pune pg social group... by chance if are visits overlap, then its meet time

Worst case, see you'll at AIPGM 09

Regulars and members graduating the Pune Chapter are more than welcome. We can always arrange meets around when you guys are in town the next time

More to come I am sure about how the meet went.

And I am really happy pankhuri was there to document and record the last meet as well

Ah the Pune PG Season Finale Meets

Since the AIPGM, we have had three meets and I would say we could have kept them coming had the b-schools not decided to commence the academic year

The Mumbai meet was to be held today, and by the time they figured it out we had managed to squeeze out three awesome meets

(Dont mind me, laying groundwork for Pune to win the most happening PG City.)

This "finale" meet was held on a weekday as most puys are leaving either today or in the next few days.

And like always here are the highlights of the last "finale" meet

Ankur decided not to come, but then comes anyway our last meet has truly been well documented!
Puluk hadnt packed yet, deciding to do it while staying awake at night.
Nikhil was still in office when we called him (Puluk, Ankur and me were waiting for Puneet). He hadnt decided to carry a camera to office. We tell Ankur it was on purpose - but seriously Nikhil camera next time
Nikhil informs that Apurv is attending this meet
We reach CCD to find Apurv, Alpesh, Anirudh, Ameya already there along with Harshad.
Harshad's mood was neutral (he was wearing a smilie print tee which said )
Rushi and his friend Yeolen arrive. Yeolen is a new prospective puy.
Puneet is really hungry, and to his horror finds is no veg left to eat. He promptly goes outside and gets himself something to eat - only to bring it back into CCD
Drinks and bites were ordered, and Harshad got his chocolate on time.

I ordered tea and Nikhil comments that I just paid forty bucks to make my own tea
Ameya had to leave early and wish him luck for IMT G. And that is where I have come across your posts, I used to read that thread often.
There were a lot of colorful comments. Better let them rest.
It was decided that b-schoolers (they have grown so fast from aspirant - call getters - convertees - b-schoolers) would give a farewell speech.
Deep gave an extremely emotional speech Puneet remarks pakka raha hai
Yeolen introduces himself to the group.
Rushi and me figure out we have met before at CL even before we met through PG Meets. Talk about small world.
Anirudh informs its a full circle moment for him. His first PG meet was in CCD and so was this one. Of course, it wont be his last
The b-schoolers decided to pick the tab and we all headed out.
Puneet and quite a few were in the mood for beer.
The group dispersed after a few group shots.
Apurv's message that he had reached CCD came to us then

I may have missed a lot of details, like always. Truly an end to such awesome fun that is the Pune chapter.

My best wishes to the b-schoolers, good luck and do sneak in a few visits here.

Those who remain, have big shoes to fill.

Well. I have spent 10 years in this city and one of them were as a part of the proud Pune PG members group. I feel very bad to leave this City and especially the Pune PG meets which were an integral part of my life

I hope we have atleast mini-meets when one of us comes back

Like I said with Harshad, you guys are always welcome. All you need to do is leave a message at the Pune social group (am on a promoting blitz) or ping any of us on gtalk. In fact we could always arrange a meet around your schedule.

The remaining few do always need a reason to celebrate

And Deep, twenty more to go for that certified

Ok A certain Mr Deepak Gopalakrishnan would be in town.. most probabaly tommorow. Anyone interested in meeting him?

Chuck - Whose claim to fame is err.. nothing actually

Except a few PPJs and that he sits pretty in the best B-school in Ahmedabad

Definitely interested in meeting him.... though I am sure that he has no clue I stay in Pune... after I've told him the same about a dozen time

Thhough I have a little idea about, who me chuck_gopal is... (well, not that I know Mr. Deepak Gopalakrishnan

), from his popularity on PG would love to meet him.
