Hello everyone... Sorry for the late post.
Well, my first Mumbai meet went off decenty. However, getting to Candies is a goddamn headache, and it's a terrible venue to have a meet. No ambience, crowded, too many of the 'I-want-to-be-seen-here' junta, and just about decent food (you wouldn't think that, seeing the amount I gorged...). It's a terribly unphotogenic venue as well, judging by the monotonous nature of the photos. Took me around an hour and frantic calls to wil_make_it, Mahip, Apurv and Puneet to get there
I resorted to trying to find it on GPRS before Mouthshut told me it was opposite Leelavati's... Which it was not. The place was too noisy to have discussions. Next time, let's keep it at a tried and tested CCD or Barista, please
Meet... Anmol aka wil_make_it showed the world why he is the ideal candidate for a toothpaste ad, with his ever-grinning, happy smile. Ritu was more interested in comparisions between IIMA and MICA :rollseyes:, an act for which someone has promised to report me on PG. Fellow Liverpool fan aligati showed up fashionably late.
Miss Popularity, sudoku aka Khushbu Thakkar came to the party to infuse life, and the man who could give Kulker a run for his waistline, Pranav came over later and promised me lots of South Park
Pranav will be inducted into FAHPI - Fat And Happy People of India by the only existing members, me and Kulker.
Was good fun, three hours well spent discussing all sorts of arbit crap
Left early because milady was waiting on the other end of town
Had one hell of an auto ride with I-know-every-shortcut-in-Mumbai-man polpot
Will drop into HQ for a couple of tees next week. Love you all

Damn it. Missed a pg meet again. And the photos do nothing to comfort me, the make me worse. Am really waiting for that elusive pg meet in which i would be a part of.
But anyways, there is always the next time.
A another puy, new to PG meets, had also come down. he kept quite for most part of the meet, he said he was listening . And then suddenly was no where to be found. dunno if he left while i was placing order or something. Name was Ujjwal Gupta, dunno his PG id.
If I remember missing some1 else, will edit in here

as the junta started coming in fellow puys decided it was time for a quick grub...food seemed to be decent enough...had some snaps taken as well...some bschool n non-bschool talk...chuck n ritu were busy comparing bschools even though i told them it was against forum rules
a poor newbie (i guess maverick III was his id) felt lost in the entire drama called a PG meet ...all n all a good meet with a good turn out

well.. after reading the story and having a view of pics, my urge for another PGmeet has increased... will be in mumbai after 20th june for atleast 2 years...
