PG kolkata meet for the month of september

after a lot of encouraging response from kolkata puys and a go ahead from nikhilkulk I am starting this thread..so 26th august is a problem for many but many have agreed on 2nd september...here is a list of memebrs who ahve shown a lot of enthusiasm and are postive that they will attend the pg meet on 2nd september..

i have pmed 15 more and awaiting their responses...hope to atleast take the count to 12...thats an encouraging number for a pg meet

now guys please pur in your choices for the venue and the timings
i gather that some want it in saltlkae..lets get everybody's view on that and then i shall add a poll as well

and aslo put in a bit about yourself..whether taking the cat this year or not etc etc..

Working with Cognizant since May 2006..

Took the CAT last year.. managed to get a 94-odd ..

Taking it this year as well... Fingers crossed... Taking the AIMCAT for my preps..

yes it will be wonderful if we get maximum people to attend the meet
see as far as i am concerned i am trying my level best to get max number of people
those who have shown enthu for a meet please try and get more people

why am i so eager for a meet?
i am not originally from calcutta..so hardly have any friends here...this meet will be a nice start towards making friends with people who share a common passion..getting into a good b school

how will it help?
since i am not taking classes anywhere for CAT a meet would help me get in touch with all the aspirants from calcutta...and whnever i have doubts and queries regarding exams,forms dates i will have a strong group to help me..plus PG has the best brains so all of us can help each other by sharing strategies and keep each other motivated to do well

plus the biggest factor..it will be FUN

so I am sure anybody who attends the meet will enjoy the same benifits...
so do come..one and all...

Sorry guys....... really wanted to be the part of PG meet this time.......but again i wont be in the city on 2nd sep....... but will be there the next Sunday... i wont ask u guys to postpone but I'm really eager to join all..

i did my schooling from Sri aurobindo institute of education..

completed computer sc engg this year and will be joining cognizant next month..

appeared for cat 2006...was a disaster to say the least

lets see wat happens this time..

i think its good to have some sort of idea about ourselves..

anyways we will talk about ourselves coz this is the first meet..

those going from aimcat test centres at st lawrence in ballygunje can go together...so stay in touch folks
